Cooperation of Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist in Rehabilitation of Patients after Fractured Distal Radius

Jaromíra Uhlířová Title of bachelor thesis: Cooperation of Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist in Rehabilitation of Patients after Fractured Distal Radius Abstract: Bachelor thesis is aimed on multidisciplinary work during rehabilitation of patients after a fracture of distal radius. In population it is most common in the upper extremity fractures. The theoretical part includes anatomy and kinesiology in context, primary and secondary treatment of distal radius fractures, their classification system and most common complications. Besides that the section includes key competencies of both physiotherapist and occupational therapist as well as studies involving their interdisciplinary cooperation. The practical part consists of 3 case reports of patients after fractured distal radius (1 primary treated surgically, 2 after conservative treatment). Evaluation process was based on cycle of therapeutical units led simultaneously by both physiotherapist and occupational therapist.
