Architectural database refactoring
Nguyen Trung, Hoa ; Palovská, Helena (advisor) ; Krch, David (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with database architectural refactorings. Its purpose is to describe each and every architectural refactoring method in detail on theoretical level with following author's own examples. These examples contain schema update mechanics and an outline of application code update. First of all, there will be an explanation of what refactoring stands for and what are the main differences between database refactoring and code refactoring. Following is detailed description of each and every architectural refactoring method with its principle, benefits and potential tradeoffs. The next part consists of author's own examples where update mechanics from theory are applied. Final chapter evaluates achievement of objectives, contribution of thesis and proposals on how can this thesis be extended.

Specifics of social work with clients with drug addiction
HANZALOVÁ, Vendula
The number of people in the population who use addictive substances and develop adverse life situations is still growing. This issue is also connected with social, health and legal problems with which the drug user must deal. In this case, those addicted can look for help to institutions such as a contact centre. The theoretical part is focused on three topics. The first describes the terms of drug addiction, its origin, consequences and forms of support. The work deals with theories that are significant to the work. The last topic concerns the specifics of social work in a contact centre. There are selected core activities and techniques specific to this institution. I set the aim for this paper, which was to answer the question of which theoretical approach is best applied by social workers working with drug addicts. Furthermore I was finding out which are the best examples of good practical training. The results after evaluation showed that social workers cannot tell whether they work according to particular theories. Usually there is eclecticism, which means that they collect different experiences and then apply them to the work. The basis for these is a bio-psycho-socio-spiritual model that takes into account the integral concept of personality and the philosophy of Harm Reduction which is the main point of contact work. The research brought the views of social workers, their recommendations, and techniques that are proven by them, and also describe the pitfalls of their work. In my opinion, this work could serve as a good summary of techniques for new workers who would like to work with drug addicts. My results can also be the basis for further studies and research in this area.

Analysis of Financial Time Series in Crisis
LOPATÁŘ, Antonín
This bachelor thesis is focused on the methods of analysing an additive model of time series. The theoretical part is aimed on history of business cycle, structural and cyclic deflection and individual phases of business cycle. There are described individual theories of business cycle. Crisis as one of the phases is described closer. Further it introduces the methods used in practical part. The practical part contains analysis of individual time series. For example price of gold, LIBOR, PRIBOR, Gross domestic product and other. This time series are analysed by exponential smoothing, moving averages and other methods.

The Human Resources and Employment Operational Programme - specific example
Novotná, Jitka ; Hrdlička, Pavel (advisor)
The theoretical part is focused on characteristics of the labor market , causes and consequences of unemployment risk groups of people over 50 years , the European Social Fund and its impact on the labor market and characterized Operational Programme Human Resources and Employment 2007-2013. At the conclusion of the theoretical part are specified individual regional project Key competences in Hradec Kralove region. In the practical part of the thesis evaluates the individual regional project Key competences in Hradec Kralove region and described its own survey of long-term success of the project operators in the labor market and measures designed to increase the success of similar projects .

Reproductive disorders in dogs
Szabová, Martina ; Rozinek, Jiří (advisor) ; Karlasová, Barbora (referee)
This labour is about reproductive disfunctions of dogs males and females. Prevention and early diagnostics can help to start with medical cure and finaly reinstate animal. Vaginal cytology is cheap, simple, considerate method, which helps define stage of females cycle or diagnose some patological conditions of organism. Bacterial cultivation of vagina or uterus shows natural microflora or pathogenical microorganism, who cause inflammation or sepsis. Sonography helps to find tumors, infections, mineralization or cysts. The most common tumors are males prostate tumor or females tumor of mammary glands. New studies speculated about global genetic expresion of classification tumors depends on specific examples. Pyometra is one of the most common reproduction disease of females before they reaches ten years. It is an inflammation of uterus with cumulated septic fluid inside and mostly graduaded to ovariohisteroctomy. High concetration of chemokine helps to better diagnose inflammation of organism. Brucella cannis is serious disease, which seriously harms juveniles. In that case we talk about zoonosis which harms humans as well. Common tests who help us to diagnose problems are ELISA, PCR or serology. Canis herpes is expanded around whole world and its prevalency antibodies are very different. For detection of virus is mostly used VNT test, ELISA, PCR or hemaglutination. Abnormal sexual diferentiation is mostly disorder of females reprodaction system, abnormalties of chromosomes and defects on fenotype. Abnormal chromosomes we can categorize as syndrome XXY, syndrom XO, syndrom XXX or real hermaphrodites and chimers. Individuals with defects at gonades have chromosomes XX or XY, but their sexual glands are in contradiction with chromoses. Fenotype problems at individuals mostly have same chromoses as their sexual signs, but their fenotype does not fit to their sexual glands. For example pseudohermaphrodism.

Teaching English in Preschool Children
SPIŠÁKOVÁ, Mária
This thesis deals with the teaching English in preschool children. The first part of the thesis analyses developmental assumptions of preschool children for learning a foreign language. Moreover, it compares two different views of scientists, Piaget and Vygotskij, on the relationship between development and learning. The second part of the thesis characterizes the best-known methods in language teaching in preschool children in the Czech Republic. All five language schools reported use a direct unwitting method that is successful and natural way of language learning children up to the age of seven years old. The thesis highlights the advantages of each method and presents a concrete example of the use of their combination in practice.

Factors affecting postmortem changes in pork meat
Seilerová, Michaela ; Čítek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Lebedová, Nicole (referee)
The thesis focused on the summary of the quality of pork. The main indicators of the quality of pork and of meat generally together with a chemical composition and the external and internal factors dealing with the quality of meat are described in the thesis. The various histological structure, the variable chemical content, technological features are found in meat. The structure and composition depends on a way of living, the function of the parts of an animal body, on lots of intravital factors (a kind of an animal, breed, male or female, age, the way of nutrition, the state of health). Meat is a valuable source of nutrients and essential acids for a man. The human organism is not able to synthesize the essential acids itself. Lipids are the important part of meat, their main function is storing energy. They are found as a reserve tissue in the subcutaneus parts of animals or among muscular fibre. The amount of carbohydrates contained in meat is not important, meat is low in carbohydrates. They are only important for meat maturation. Meat is high in minerals and vitamins. It is necesary for a man and should be a part of our diet. The important factor for a meat quality is described as a formation of muscular fibres. There are the thin fibres in the meat of a high quality and the thick and fat fibres in the meat of a low quality. The meat quality depends on a number and charactes of animal fibres. The meat of a high quality is for example loin - it is the meat with fine fibres. The next factor which has influence on a meat quality is course of post mortem changes. We can differentiate four stages in these processes: prae rigor, rigor mortis, aging of the meat and deep autolysis. Post mortem aiging processes can deviate from teh standard from variety of reasons and as concequences we can see quality deviation of the meat for example PSE, DFD, RSE, Hampshire efect and cold shortening. Also the breed has the influance on the quality of the meat namely sensitivity to stress, growth characteristic and parameters of slaughter value, other internal factors are age and sex. External factors which has the influance on the quality of the meat are transport of the animals to the slaughterhouse, attitude of the employees during chasing after the animals, the rest before slaughter, stunning itself, bleeding thereafter and cooling down after slaughtery.

An influence of farming system on soil water distribution
Voda, Filip ; Jakšík, Ondřej (advisor) ; Nikodem, Antonín (referee)
Farming the soil can significantly influence quality of surface and ground water because it is carried out both on the soil and in the whole landscape, where the water within its hydrological cycle comes from. Water distribution in the soil can be significantly influenced by character of the land. This work describes soil properties which affects water retention and distribution, for example porosity, texture, soil structure and bulk density. All these factors determine soil cultivation that depends on its actual humidity. There are farming practices described, too. These practices can significantly influence water contents in the soil, soil humidity and the influence of surface water on soil erosion. Factors which influence water distribution within soils are sorted into individual chapters. They are soil, cultivation and its depresion, water erosion, edaphone water regime of soil and the influence of vegetation to water regime of soil. In the end of this work, we conclude that reduced and soil-protective technologies have positive influence on water regime, macroedaphone biomass content (higher number of earthworms), surface runoff reduction and therefore minimize a risk of soil water erosion and unfavorable soil compaction in comparison to conventional technologies.
