Švorcová, Zuzana ; Lukášová, Tereza (advisor) ; Ševčíková, Michaela (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to show how the development aid which has been received in the Kingdom of Cambodia during the years 1993 - 2014 has been effective. This paper is also focused on the influence which could possibly stop the developing aid from its effectiveness. Based on the data of the World Bank Group is the correlation tested by using Gretl Software for stated years. Besides the growing number od the primary school teachers, the results of the two variables - life expectancy and decreasing child mortality has shown significant correlation with the growing developing aid on 1% confidence level. The author is also focused on corruption as one of the main possible barrier to fulfil effectivness of the international aid.

Viscometric study of L-Lysine- and 6-aminocaproic acid-hyaluronan systems behavior within the range of low aminoacids concentrations
Šimáčková, Marcela ; Běťák, Jiří (referee) ; Chytil, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis investigates the interaction between high-molecular weight hyaluronic acid (1.75 MDa HA) and amino acids, particularly lysine and 6-aminocaproic acid. The interactions should occur between the carboxyl groups of HA carrying a negative charge and a positive charge located on the nitrogen atom of the protonated amino acids. The presence of these interactions would mean the possibility of establishing bioactive compounds, e.g. drugs, on hyaluronic acid, in which it would act as a targetting carrier. The interactions were examined at low concentrations for both aminoacids, i.e. below 10 mmoldm-3, and for 6-aminocaproic acid also at high aminoacid concentrations, i.e. above 20 mmoldm-3. The presence of interaction was investigated using not only rheology, but also by measuring pH and conductivity. Based on this research, the interactions manifested in terms of a decrease in the system viscosity.

 Title: Comparison of coordination and condition abilities of young karate youth and the other school youth.  Goals: To compare level of coordination and condition abilities by three groups of probands from the same place of a small town, where the first group regularly attends Kyokushinkai trainings, the second group regularly sports and the third group does not any sport in any sport club.  Methods: The whole group was divided into 3 subgroups: sportsmen, who have trained fullcontact karate - school of Kyoukushinkai, sportsmen, who do actively any sport (football, floorball, table tennis, et.) and youth, who do not any organized sport activity. I measure the motory efficiency by the UNIFITTTEST (6-60) and level of coordination abilities by project of Kohoutek et. (2005).  Results: It was proved that regular sport activity has a positive influence to a condition and coordination ability. Also it was proved that youth practicing regular trainings of martial arts of Kyokushinkai karate have higher level of tested motory abilities than their school mates who practice other organized sport. It is obvious that karate training and other sport activities have a positive influence to a motory ability level. I consider karate training to be a sport which develops complexly coordition and condition...

In the practical part I show analyse and compare the situation of all the grades in SŠ a VOŠ cestovního ruchu and I suppose that it can be used in making preventive programmes.

Theory of the Firm from the view of New Institutional Economics and some Aspects of Institutional Framework Quality in the Czech Republic
Vitík, Robert ; Sirůček, Pavel (advisor) ; Soukup, Jindřich (referee) ; Žák, Milan (referee) ; Mlčoch, Lubomír (referee)
This doctoral thesis presents the basic and the main developments of the theories of the firm rooted in Transaction Cost Theory (TCT). Since the article of Coase on the nature of the firm, this question has been elaborated by number of economists. In my point of view, I would like to introduce the last theory developed by the representative of the school called New Institutional Economics. The theory concentrates on the role of institutions. We distinguish institutions formal and informal. The formal are laws, constitution, regulations, contracts and other written rules. The informal don't require a written form and they represent informal restrictions such as rules of behaviour, conventions, traditions and habits. The main purpose of the institutions in their various forms is mainly to protect property rights, enforce voluntary contracts and establish the physical and regulatory infrastructure to facilitate economic activity. Generally, we can call them the rules of the game. They inform us about possible economic behaviour and give us basic restrictions in this sense. First -- the theoretical part of this thesis, we can find a simple model with human asset specificity based on TCT. The main proposition is that transactions with a high level of asset specificity are more probably internalised because the firm handles better such transactions compared to the market, even if asset specificity increases the cost of coordination in the firm. If the hierarchy, for example through the formation of routines, may enhance the efficiency compared to the market, we can modify the previous model. The model developed according to a Knowledge-based view assumes that asset specificity reduces transaction costs inside the firm and increases transaction costs on the market. In the conclusion of the theoretical part is discussed the reply on first formulate hypothesis if the TCT is still compatible with a newer Capability and Knowledge based view. In my opinion based on the presented arguments and views, both theories are compatible, they can answer more questions and explain more issues. The last step links the aforementioned theories into one Theory of firm boundaries. In the practical part of the thesis, I bring basic arguments about the institutional framework quality in the Czech Republic. These arguments rely on the latest studies of the international institutions such The Transparency International, The Heritage Foundation, The Kurtzman Group and mainly The World Bank. Studies reveal certain weak arrangements concerning for example the number of procedures when starting a business, complicated construction permits, rigidity of working hours, time-consuming and administrative demanding tax system, duration of judicial process which results in ineffective contract enforcement and mainly poor protection of property rights. Taking these disclosures into account we have to say that emergent transaction costs are enormous. These transaction costs influence negatively the competitiveness of the firms and the whole Czech economy. Therefore a negative response to the second hypothesis relating to the quality of the institutional framework in the Czech Republic.

Decision making of Prague moviegoers
Macháček, Ivan ; Hanzlík, Jan (advisor) ; Zelený, Martin (referee)
The aim of this work is to analyze attitudes of Prague film viewers towards watching films at the cinema and at home and to find out on what factors do they base their decision to watch a particular film. The means to achieve this goal are research of existing literature related to this subject and my own research through a questionnaire survey on a sample population of Prague with a corresponding demographic composition. The most crucial conclusions from this investigation are related to the frequency of watching movies in the cinema and at home, attitudes towards the origin and localization of movies, attitudes towards various genres, factors influencing the choice of a film and comparing the results of various demographic groups (by gender, age and education) within these topics.
