Prohibition of smoking, its legal regulations and development

Cílem bakalářské práce je definovat, zda je nutná právní úprava zákazu kouření, popsat současný právní stav v České republice, jeho případné nedostatky. Práce se bude věnovat problematice kouření tabákových výrobků z hlediska kulturně-historického, z hlediska zdravotních rizik spojených s kouřením a ekonomických souvislostí. Rovněž budou zmíněny právní úpravy zákazu kouření v celoevropském kontextu. Závěrem by měla být snaha o nalezení a návrh možných řešení (preventivní opatření, zákazy a omezení reklamy a prodeje tabákových výrobků).

Martina Smržová, 2011/2012 Abstract International Insolvency Law Key Words: COMI, Establishment, Vis Attractiva Concursus With regard to the broad extent of international insolvency law, the author focuses mainly on the Court's jurisdiction in the context of the European insolvency law. The subject of interest is therefore the EC Regulation No. 1346/2000 on insolvency proceedings (the "insolvency regulation"). The aim of this thesis is (1) to summarise development of interpretation of the most important terms concerning the court's jurisdiction to open the main insolvency proceedings, the secondary proceedings and proceedings which relate to the insolvency proceedings; and (2) to propose amendments to the insolvency regulation especially regarding the Report which will be prepared by the Commission on application of the insolvency regulation no later than the 1 June 2012. The work is divided into five main chapters. A short introduction in the first chapter is followed by the second chapter which deals with an introduction on the international insolvency law. The scope is to discover which of these two countries has more suitable business environment for the establishment of a startup. The first chapter defines startup and illustrates its importance and development. Second part is dedicated to foundation of a startup regarding legal differences and funding aspects. The last section confronts business environment and support for the foundation of a startup in both countries.

This master thesis "Specifics of Marketing Communication Targeted on Seniors and Unfair Practices Against Them" aims to familiarize the reader with the ways and coercive methods by which traders force seniors to buy overpriced goods or services during the selling events or doorstep sales. Another aim is to identify the reasons that lead elderly to attend sales events, or use the services of door-to-door seller. Next, I will try to make recommendations to public authorities and elderly how to prevent unfair trade practices. The thesis also deals with legal regulations, the demographic situation and development, and manipulation.

The diploma thesis is focused on the analyses of the Economic development and the subsequent comparison of the BRICS countries. The thesis is especially focused on Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The first chapter is dedicated to characterization of the BRICS countries. The second chapter deals with the basic characteristics of the BRICS countries. Next chapters are focused on PEST analysis of these concrete countries. The third chapter deals with political and legal environment. Moreover, the fourth chapter focuses on the economic analysis of these countries. The aim of the fifth chapter is an analysis of technological development of the BRICS countries and their mutual comparison. Finally, last chapter is focused on the evaluation of concrete markets using SWOT analysis.

The concept and types of bills of exchange and promissory notes

- 1 - Abstract The topic of my diploma thesis is "The concept and types of bills of exchange and promissory notes". The reason why I chose this topic is my interest in securities law, especially in bill of exchange law, and my previous work experience. I regularly work with bill of exchange law in my employment so this is a reason why I have decided to expand my knowledge of this particular law. The bill of exchange and check act number 191/1950 Coll., as amended, is the basis of legislation for this kind of law in the Czech Republic. The most significant advantage of this act is the constancy, which is given by the general method of treatment of this issue. This advantage can be considered as one of the main disadvantages too, because the solution of unique issues is left to case law and literature. This is a reason, why the core of this diploma thesis is chapter 5, where I analyse the essential requirements of bill of exchange and promissory note. Also the issue of graphical design is a very interesting and actual topic. The diploma thesis is structure into seven chapters. Legal status of civil servants in the Czech Republic

The Master's thesis is dealing with the issues of the civil service, which development and current situation show considerable heterogeneity of opinions and related political dispute. A closer look on current condition, is preceded by the outline of the characteristics of civil services' basic characteristics distinguished by current legal theory. A historical excursion since 1918 with respect to chronological and semantic order, has also been made. The crucial part of the thesis is devoted to the content analysis of the service pragmatics, the bill of The state officials and Service Act and its amendments. In the conclusion, the author defines four variants of possible solution to the current state of the civil service, which, among others, indicate, that it is desirable to revise effective Service Act by the Bill no. 71/9, with respect mostly to career elements and current situation of the civil service.

The comparison of the administrative justice system in the Czech Republic and selected European countries

This thesis analyses the administrative justice system, which represents one of the key control mechanisms of the public administration in The Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to compare the administrative justice system of The Czech Republic with selected European models of the administrative justice system such as the French and German justice systems. The result of this comparison highlights the differences in justice systems and considers the possibility of implementing these models in The Czech legal system.The administrative justice system in The Czech Republic has been developing since 2003, when The Act N. 150/2002 came into effect. The operating administrative justice system in The Czech Republic is characterized by the following criteria: statutory framework, power and jurisdiction of the administrative court, organization of the administrative justice system and the course of the judicial administrative proceedings. The following chapters discuss the French and German models of the administrative justice system and analyze the similarities with the Czech system.The final chapter compares the individual administrative justice systems and their most important differences.

The regional policy of The Republic of Bulgaria

The European union is a team made of 27 players each of with a different capacity. Via the united regional policy the union determines the single states development direction. The common success depends on the harmonization of the national objects and the teamwork of each country. This diploma work is an analyzes the development of the regional policy of The Republic of Bulgaria, its starting point and processes during the years, while defining the present direction and priorities. A follow up through the "evolution" of the legal scope, administrative units and the strategic documents gives an overview of the country's progress in the regional development: an aria with no tradition in Bulgaria.
