Calculation of electrodynamic forces in 1600 A circuit breaker
Musil, Pavel ; Bušov, Bohuslav (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the calculation of electrodynamic forces that counterwork on moving contacts of compact circuit breaker BL1600 from the company OEZ Letohrad. The thesis is divided into separates chapters that build on themselves. In the introduction the reason why we deal with calculation of dynamic forces and structural arrangement of current carrying path is described. In the following chapter there is a theoretical analysis of electrodynamic forces that conterwork on individual parts of circuit breaker´s element. The third part is devoted to structural arrangement of the circuit breaker BL1600. In this part we can find an example of using the circuit broker Modeion in practice. Two next chaptures deal with adjustment of the model of current carrying path which then serves for the calculation of electrodynamic forces. The rest of the thesis is devoted to my own calculations. These calculations are mainly stationary where we try to find the forces that conterwork on the contacts in a steady current and in a point in time. There are also dynamics calculation when we can watch the forces that counterwork on contacts in a certain time interval. The last chapter is devoted to a stationary calculation of forces that counterwork on the electrical arc which arises while turning the short-circuit current off. The obtained results are evaluated in partial conclusions of this thesis.

House wiring
Tománek, Drahomír ; Dohnal, Petr (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is to gather requirements for wiring in a family house and then a real project for a family home. The theoretical part is divided into four parts. The first section lists the most important wiring standards. The second part deals with the different parts of the wiring by connecting electricity to the lighting and socket circuits. The third part concentrates on the protection against electric shock and on the overload protection. The fourth part focuses on the individual requirements of each room. The practical part consists of drawings, technical reports, A price quotation and control requirements regarding the corresponding technical norms. The designs include site plan of the appliances, wiring and installation of the switchboards.

The Zeis Family in Tábor Public Life
DĚDIČOVÁ, Pavla
The bachelor work "The Zeis Family in Tábor Public Life" records the history of the town of Tábor in the second half of 19th century. It describes town gradual urbanization and industrialization and at the same time the work tries to refer to the influence of the elite Tábor family. The Zeis family belonged indisputably to the most noticeable Tábor families. Its most important members were Jakub and Emanuel Zeis, father and son, who were involved in Tábor public life since the beginning of the second half of 19th century. Jakub was the first self-governing Mayor of the town in 1850 {--} 1870 and Emanuel was the third Mayor in 1883 {--} 1889. Subsequently he was made the head of the district and worked as the district Mayor until he died. In the course of more then fifty years Tábor developed essentially: there has been established Tábor secondary education system, the town became an important South-Bohemian transport junction and industry grew too. During these days the town formed as an exclusively Czech self-governing centre. New societies were being founded, the famous Hussite history was remembered and there has been built a number of monuments to commemorate national heroes. The turning point period around year 1918 concludes the bachelor work. Not only because Emanuel Zeis died in this year but also because of the fact, that year 1918 closes one phase of the national history. The last Chapter describes the town and Zeis family from point of view of an outstanding native of Tábor Emanuel Chalupný. This part of the bachelor work contrasts with the rest of the work as attitude of Emanuel Chalupný to the Zeis Family is really impossibly to be assessed as positive.

The Issue of Poverty and Its Practical Impact in Sub-Saharan Africa
VIEHMANNOVÁ, Kristýna
The work deals with the problem of poverty and its causes, impacts and possible help in Sub-Saharan Africa. The aim of this thesis is based on the study of documents and other resources to present the issue of poverty, its causes, indicators and possible help in Third World Countries, to investigate the ways the International Monetary Fund helps in the fight against poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa in line with the Millennium Development Goals, which were adopted by representatives of all UN Member States in 2000 at the Millennium Summit. The research was conducted by the secondary data analysis, focused on written documents, literature, press and television broadcasts on the International Monetary Fund and the question of whether this is in line with the MDGs. In the work I specify the concept of poverty in the context of African countries, I point to the geographic, demographic and cultural characteristics of this continent, the beginning of the crisis and indebtedness of states with international institutions like the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. Further, I give a detailed description of the International Monetary Fund as an institution from its foundation, including the roles it plays in financial assistance to countries. In my work I conclude that the policy proposed by the IMF, which is financial austerity, privatization and market liberalization, is by no means an effective way to economic growth in poor countries of Sub-Saharan Africa and definitely does not correspond to meeting Millennium Development Goals.

Hazards of HIV, What Know About Them the Secondery Young People in Česká Třebová
Záleská, Lenka ; Bernard, Josef (advisor) ; Urbánková, Olga (referee)
This thesis treats of the HIV virus and its hazards. It is composed of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with the HIV virus, it clears up the history of its discovery and the ways of transmission. It also describes the development and classification of the HIV infection, makes clear the possibilities of therapeutics and emphasizes prevention. As one of the possibilities of prevention the peer education in the sphere of HIV/AIDS prevention is mentioned here. In the practical part the questionnaire is analysed which was filled in by students of the second and third years of several secondary schools in Česká Třebová. By means of the questionnaire it was found out how the students are informed of the HIV virus, if they know how to protect themselves from it, where they get information and who they would turn on if they wanted to learn something about the virus. Another point of research was to find out if the obtained knowledge is somehow reflected in the common life of the interviewed people and if they feel to be threatened by the virus. My aim was also to find out the students' opinions on some specific situations which are concerned with HIV, like for example having one-night affairs or taking drugs. Hanušová, Libuše ; Žofková, Hana (referee) ; Nazarenko, Liliya (advisor)
This thesis entitled "Czech and Russian phrasemes containing components of the universe and celestial bodies" has for its object to gather and explore as large as possible number of phraseologisms containing the components on the theme of space and celestial bodies. It consists of several parts. In the theoretical part we engaged in phraseology as science, in some attitudes to it, in definition of phrasemes and different classifications that were created by Czech and Russian philologists. In the second part we analyzed the grammatical structure of Czech and Russian phrasemes and classified them according to their structures. In the third one we dealt with stylistic characteristics of Czech and Russian phrasemes, divided them according to stylistic characteristics of the whole phrasemes having regard for stylistic characteristics of particular component. The last part of our work is dedicated to the comparison of Czech and Russian equal phrasemes that we divided on the basis of relationship of these equivalents and their components. We explained particular phrasemes and their origin. In case the origin was not evident we had tried to explain it too. Most of those Russian phrasemes we explored has its equivalent in Czech vice versa. However, some of them have to be translated periphrasticly. 80
