Quality of Life and Its Understanding by Mental Health Patients in the Paprsek nadeje Centre
BARTOŠÍKOVÁ, Radka
In this thesis I would like to acquaint the reader with the impact of mental illness on human. In my thesis I focus on the psychosocial impact of the illness in the form of the assistance to an ill person, the quality of interpersonal relationships and quality of social interactions linked to the stigma. The essence of research in the social field were the findings concerning the living conditions of the client, client's activities and leisure time activities or the manners of support in illness. An important task of the client was to respond to questions about the hardships in life. The paper also deals with the knowledge of the physical, mental and spiritual qualities. It focuses on the comparison and awareness of the role of illness and pharmacotherapy as a limiting factor in the perception of quality life. It refers to the material conditions of these people, emerging drug addiction and subjective values and a feeling of well lived life in general. An important element of my research is to detect clients? life goals and to record their life satisfaction using "scale of life satisfaction." My goal was to map the real quality of life of the clients of the centre Paprsek naděje and the key aspects of the experience of life and how the meeting of the individual needs of the client affects the quality of life from their own perspective. The results were then evaluated and compared with Maslow's hierarchy of needs. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the classification of mental illnesses, their prognosis and treatment. I emphasize the disorder schizophrenia as a contemporary phenomenon, and finally the quality of life and the various aspects that affect it - the status of the ill person in the family, society, work and isolation. The empirical part is devoted to the research itself. For research I used qualitative research methods and techniques of semi-structured interview supplemented by observations. The research group consists of 5 clients of the centre Paprsek naděje in the age range of 28-59 years. I carried out one pilot study before the research itself. The resulting data were processed and put in tables and graphs, evaluated and compared in the discussion and conclusion. Part of the research was realized using the Schedule for the Evaluation of Individual Quality of Life, SEIQoL. Using this method, I examined individual life goals of each client, their importance and satisfaction with their achievements. Overall I responded to one main research question and two sub-questions. I consider the findings of abnormal invalidity and unemployment, high levels of stigmatizing experience, lack of active free time and physical activity, emerging drug addiction or lack of interpersonal relationships as the crucial results negatively affecting quality of life. Physical decrepitude is always a present component. The research also showed occasional unfamiliarity with diagnosis. Positives can mainly be seen in family support and in the quality of family relationships, also in sufficient material sources and in family and spiritual priorities. It is essential that compared with the Maslow's hierarchy, it was found that it has preserved its traditional arrangement in the process of meeting the needs. The content of individual needs was however varied in each of its individual parts. I have also learned that mental illness limits clients greatly for example in the context of culture and their interests and that there are also limitations to the parental instinct caused by fear of the large amount of responsibility and the impact of their illness to their children. An unexpected finding was the satisfaction of all clients with material sources. Similarly, the clients see their mental illness as a certain way of realizing satisfaction.

Transport systems used in cosmetics
Škopová, Jitka ; Kramářová,, Daniela (referee) ; Zemanová, Jana (advisor)
Between transport systems in cosmetics belong liposomes, liquid crystals and also chosen substances, which speed under given conditions a transport of active compounds, so-called accelerators of trans-dermal penetration. Liposomes are used topically (i.e. directly onto the place of their action in surface structures of organism) in dermatological and cosmetic preparations, they facilitate the penetration of active substances into the deeper layers of the skin and make possible their more expressive treatment. Some properties of liquid crystals are similar to the properties of live organisms. Analogous to the vital cells are they sensitive to light, sound, warm, mechanical straining and chemical changes. And by contraries, some scientists mark vital cells as liquid crystals. Thanks to this similarity are liquid crystals characterized by their excellent ability to penetrate by the skin, which is probably comparable only with liposomes. Accelerators of trans-dermal penetration otherwise accelerators of penetration by the skin are substances, which change structure of the skin or derma to be more permeable for other compounds. The trans-dermal penetration of active substances is an important part of medical researches. Those results are however applied also in other branches as for example is cosmetic industry. From the point of view of the chemical texture of these materials form they a very heterogeneous group and an elucidating of mechanisms of their incidence is so far rather in beginnings.

Approach to the nuclaer safety of the 3rd generation nuclear reactors
Pavlíček, Michal ; Kolář, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kolář, Jaroslav (referee) ; Matal, Oldřich (advisor)
The main target of the master´s thesis is reviewing the generation III nuclear reactors in term of the nuclear safety. At first we have to learn some theory of the nuclear safety in order to understand safety systems of the generation III nuclear reactors. Therefore the thesis is divided into two parts. Legislative and technical approaches to nuclear safety are mentioned in the first part. Regulatory bodies, whose task is to supervise nuclear safety in the nuclear power plants, belongs to the legislative approaches. There are defined terms such as defence in depth, redundancy, diversity, etc. There are mentioned methods to assessing nuclear safety – deterministic and probabilistic methods, especially probabilistic methods, for which a simple example is provided. There are also mentioned active and passive safety systems and their significance for nuclear safety and inherent safety too. There is an example of the function of the active and passive safety systems of the EDU nuclear power plant in conclusion of this issue. The second part deals with description of the selected nuclear reactors in context of the construction of the new units of nuclear power plant in Temelín. The nuclear reactors from companies, which applied for the public tender opened by ČEZ, a. s., for the construction of the ETE 3+4. Thus, the nuclear reactor MIR-1200 by ATOMSTROYEXPORT (Russian Federation), the nuclear reactor AP1000 by WESTINGHOUSE (USA) and the nuclear reactor EPR by AREVA (France) are taken into account . Comparison of the generation II and these generation III+ nuclear reactors necessarily belongs to this master´s thesis. These the generation III+ nuclear reactors are compared with the nuclear reactor VVER 440 (EDU) and in particular with the nuclear reactor VVER 1000, which is operated in the nuclear power plant Temelín. The final chapter contains generally appraisal of the whole problem.

Alois Toufar as an artist and educator
KŘIVÁNKOVÁ, Lucie
This thesis deals with a significant art teacher and painter Alois Toufar. It monitors progress of his professional activity with emphasis on the term "Brtnicky krouzek" as well as territory of Toufar´s not only professional activity. As opposed to all the other published and rather patchy works about Alois Toufar, this thesis essentially uses oral information sources, which in result give much more stereoscopic images about the life of Alois Toufar as a significant person in art education with not only regional importance. Expected benefit of this thesis is the improvement of current ability of children's speech and particularly mapping life and career of significant personality of art education, which is not too exposed today.

Preaching Activities of Origen and John Chrysostom
Hudec, Jonatan ; Filipi, Pavel (advisor) ; Beneš, Ladislav (referee)
This work would like to point out to the preaching activities of Origen and John Chrysostom. At first it approaches the Christian preaching in the first centuries, in general. It deals with the individual topics used for the word of preaching at that time, attempts to classify the sermons according to different categories and also mentions the way in which the sermons were preserved, touching upon the question of authorship. The work also analyses the problems of the preaching activities of the fathers. In addition it also offers parts dedicated to the origins of the preaching and the circumstances in which they were created or pronounced. The main topic of the work is the oeuvre of the authors Origen and John Chrisostom, as well as the context of their preaching activities. Gradually, the work addresses Origen and the translation of his eleventh sermon on Jeremiah and offers a study of this sermon. The work also attends to Chrisostom and his activities as a preacher, again including the translation of one of his sermons. It is the sixth sermon on the Book of Genesis and its further analysis.
