International Standards and Electronic Health Record Development
Hanzlíček, Petr
In the paper we discuss the development of electronic health record based on three-layer architecture using universal structure of collectable data, equipped by supporting systems for data verification and medical guidelines connection. Data items and their correlations are defined by knowledge base, represented by graph structure, allowing the user to modify the set of collected data without having to change the database structure. Development is based on existing international standards.

Projective Geometry and the Law of Mass Action
Gottvald, Aleš
A new law of nature asserts that chemical equilibria and chemical kinetics are governed by fundamental principles of projective geometry. The equilibrium constans of chemical reactions are the invariants of projective geometry in disguise. Chemical reactions may geometrically be represented by incidence structures, which are preserved under projective transformations. Theorems of Ceva, Menelaus, and Carnot for triangles and n-gons represent the chemical equilibria, while Routh's theorem represents non-equilibria. Intrinsically projective Riccati's differential equation, being also generic to many other equations of mathematical physics, governs parametric dependence of the equilibrium constants. The theory offers tangible geometrizations and generalizations to the Law of Mass Action, including a new projective-geometric approach to soft computing of very complex problems.

The Temperature Dependence of Homogeneous Nucleation Rates by the Gradient Theory
Hrubý, Jan
We demonstrate that the incorrect temperature dependence of the nucleation rates as predicted by the classical nucleation theory is likely a consequence of the ignored dependence of the surface tension on the radius of the droplet parameterized here as a quadratic function of the pressure difference between the gas and liquid phases of the critical cluster. The size-dependent surface tension is obtained using a simplified gradient theory.

O výpočtu vzdálenosti a Lipschitzovy obálky v digitálních obrazech
Štencel, Mikuláš ; Janáček, Jiří
Aim of the paper is the chamfer distance transform of the binary digital image in arbitrary dimension and corresponding Lipschitz cover of grayscale image. Validity of the double-scan algorithm is proved. The Lipschitz cover is usefull for elimination of the image background

Trade with Grey Parrot (\kur{Psittacus erithacus}) in EU in relation to third countries
GALLISTLOVÁ, Renata
International trade in exotic pets is an important and increasing driver of biodiversity loss. The African grey parrot has been noted as one of man's friendliest pets with popularity attributed to its intelligence, cognitive and communicative abilities. Worldwide, the African Grey Parrot is the third most commonly traded wild bird species. The subject of this thesis is an evaluation of international trade in the gray parrot (\kur{Psittacus erithacus}), covered by CITES convention to Appendix II, between European Union and third countries, according CITES Trade Database and EC Annual Report 2004 in 1994-2013. The trade has been divided into export and import, by the two existing subspecies, and within these categories were evaluated main countries of export and import, source and purpose of the trade. It was found, that the trend of import of live specimens to EU during the period 1994-2005 was increasing, although the trend between 2006-2013 was declining. The trend of export of live specimens was slightly increasing for the period 1994-2001 and 2006-2013.

Oscillator with Hertzs model of soft impacts
Peterka, František
Dynamic properties of the mechanical system with one degree of freedom containing soft stop are investigated. Dynamical impact model respects the non-linearity of the restoring contact force between solid bodies as function of deformation according to the Hertz theory. The explanation of the system motion behaviour, when static clearance decreases up to negative values, which express the static prestress, is the main aim of this paper.
