Title: Changes in brain activity in tactile stimulus therapy and Ruka Ruk therapy compared to mirror therapy in upper limb rehabilitation Objectives: The aim of the research project is to determine the changes in source electrical activity in sLORETA imaging using virtual reality operating on the principle of mirror therapy in the Ruka Ruk program and in conventional mirror therapy with tactile and haptic upper limb stimulation, compared to the resting state with open eyes. Methods: 12 healthy volunteers aged 23-42 participated in the experiment. The electrical activity of the brain was measured by scalp EEG in 7 phases of the experiment. Brain activity was measured at rest, during therapy with a sagittally placed mirror reflecting the movement of the right upper limb, and during therapy with a Leap motion sensor and a monitor with Ruka Ruk software, where participants saw only virtual upper limbs. The software mirrored the movement of the right upper limb on both virtual limbs. The electrical activity of the brain was sensed in three modifications in both types of therapy with the addition of a haptic or tactile left upper limb stimulus with a 10 cm wide foam cylinder. Title: Cerebral projection of haptic contact via sLORETA imaging Objectives: The aim of this work is to evaluate changes in intracerebral source activity via sLORETA imaging during haptic stimulation of hands, while this contact is modified by a mirror illusion in comparison to calm state with open eyes. The work seeks to specify localization of such activity. Methods: Ten healthy volunteers aged 23-42 participated in the experiment. The electrical brain activity was detected with scalp EEG. The experiment was divided in 5 phases. First we measured the brain activity during calm state with open and with closed eyes, each for 5 minutes. Afterwards the subjects were seated at a table with a mirror occluding their right hand and reflecting their left hand. The brain activity was than recorded during 4 modifications of the experiment in duration of 2 minutes each. The first modification contained symmetrical haptic contact on both hands, modification 2 involved stimulation on the left hand only, during modification 3 the stimulus was applied on the right hand only and modification 4 had no tactile stimulus on neither side.  Title of bachelor thesis: Current Trends in Physiotherapy in Patients with Brain Damage in the Early Stage of the Disease Abstract: 
 This bachelor thesis deals with current trends in physiotherapy in patients with brain damage in the early stage of the disease. The aim of this thesis is to gather information about commonly used and unconventional methods in physiotherapy after stroke and to evaluate some of the methods in practice. 
 The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part summarizes the knowledge about stroke and then includes methods that are used in physiotherapy in patients after stroke. These methods consist of conventional and unconventional approaches in physiotherapy. The practical part includes the thesis aim, methodology and three case studies of patients after stroke. The therapy is focused on the use of the Homebalance system, Mirror therapy and the Armeo®Spring device. Each of the patients underwent one of therapies mentioned above. In the practical part the usability of these therapies is also evaluated.
