Design and properties of low-frequency amplifier with vacuum valves
Piroha, Ladislav ; Musil, Vladislav (referee) ; Šandera, Josef (advisor)
The purpose of the bachelor’s thesis is explanation of theory and construction of low frequency tube audio amplifier with UV meter. Main focus is on history and development of vacuum circuits from its early beginning, on electrical parameters and applied physical principles. Explanation of operating characteristics of amplifier classes and comparison of vacuum tube sound acoustic performance against transistor amplifier one. Finally, there is build description of single ended amplifier class A.
General use of EEG sensors for mind controlled devices
Blažej, Svätopluk ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Marcoň, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with various types of sensors for collection of EEG data and their application in mind-controlled devices. This work also deals with the issue of EEG signal measurement and its further analysis, how to choose the right sensor, and right design and construction of the device for data collection, amplification and filtration of the signal obtained by the selected sensor. Further, this project aims to develop software for translation (transformation) of the obtained data in order to enable communication and control of external devices.
Stereo audio power amplifier with microcontroller
Filko, Patrik ; Götthans, Tomáš (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with designing stereo audio power amplifier, which specified functions such as control of volume, depths, treble and balance, are contoled by 16-bit microcontroler with digital potentiometers. Setting those functions is pictured on simple LCD display. Opted amplifier is easy to control ergo it finds use in wide spectre of audio devices such as ampliffing input signal from transmission audio media player or audio signal in television devices. Used design is able to be realized of easy to get components.
Power audio amplifier with two-way speaker system
Rystvej, Matej ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was a design of a stereo amplifier with an appropriate loudspeaker system for home listening. The amplifier has the ability to be switched over between high and low output power mode. This means it is possible to be used also with an other loudspeaker system with lower input power rating, and it will be prepared for possible future implementation of an active frequency filter, which will fit the frequency response to this designed loudspeaker system by amplifying some frequencies. This thesis contains design of the softstart circuit, power amplifier, preamplifier circuit, the output power switch, the delayed loudspeaker connecting circuit and the loudspeaker system.
Power audio amplifier used for laboratory measurements
Herceg, Erik ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with the scheme of low-frequency amplifier in AB class which is going to be used for laboratory measurement. The scheme was realized with semiconductor components and the power part of the amplifier was made of bipolar transistor. The main part of the work was focused on the measurement protocol. The functionality of the amplifier was verified and simulated in the theoretical way and met the criteria. The form of the measurement protocol was realized in agreement with instructions and contains all the required parameters of the measurement. The objective of this thesis is to explain how to design an amplifier and to illustrate the measurment methods of its parameters
Power amplifier and its linearization using local feedbacks
Janic, Lukáš ; Musil, Vladislav (referee) ; Khateb, Fabian (advisor)
The thesis deals with the construction of a linear power amplifier. Theoretical analysis of the final work explains the function of the amplifier blocks, which is necessary to understand the functions of the whole construction. Thesis continues in simulation analysis of separate blocks or whole construction and at the end of the implementation of the complete power amplifier.
