Master's thesis includes designing of exhibition pavilon on a circular platform with a diameter of 35m. The pavilon is designed as a schwedler circular dome. The construction is designed as a ball and is made of tubes. Pavilon includes designing of floors and stairs bearing system that is also made of steel.

Effect of building construction on thermal load of space

This master’s thesis focuses on effect of outer building construction on thermal load of space. The effect of translucent and non-translucent construction is discussed. The project of air-conditioning system is prepared for the two alternatives of the translucent construction, including the purchase price of the airconditioning system and glazing and the savings on summer cooling. Afterwards the period of the recovery of investment is calculated. The plan of the airconditioning system is connected to my bachelor’s thesis “Airconditioning in the car showroom”, the subject of which was the plan of the airconditioning system of the car showroom.

Greenhouse in the botanical garden

The thesis is focused on the design and assessment of the steel structure. It is a single-storey building of the botanical garden greenhouse. The height of the structure is 10 m and the plan dimensions are 57x43m. The structure is designed as a frame structure with added hinged beams. The spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured by rigid crossbar connections. The whole structure is made of S235 steel. The cladding is made of bonded plate glass.

Posuzování vad zabudovaných oken z hlediska reklamačních řízení

Bachelor's thesis deals with complaints of windows from the view of most frequented defects. In the theoretical part is described problem of surfacing, glazing of windows, connecting joints and there are also the most frequented issues of the windows, ventilation systems and at the end of the theoretical part there is complaint procedure and window guarantee. The practial part contains the frequency of the most frequented defects and complaints, which are solved by testing room of joinery products and the frequency of recorded complaints of an unnamed company in the production of wooden windows.
