Machining of aluminum alloy component
Lačňák, Martin ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the technology of production of the turbine-type component in Edwards company. It specifically focuses on the part of the turning production, in which in the first part an analysis of the component and the technologicity of its construction is created. Problematic aspects are analysed in terms of material structure and procedure technology. An evaluation of the former and the new supplier is made in terms of rationalization of material structure and their statistical evaluation of rationalization improvement towards keeping to geometrical tolerances. Grooving tools greatly influence the overall machining time during turning. An experiment is made to find out the measured values of the radial forces, the process of chip formation and surface roughness during grooving. The technology of procedure further deals with rationalization of the current machine OKUMA LU25-M and purchase of a new machine Mori Seiki NTX 2000, for which new tool equipment is made in cooperation with Walter company. The final technical-economical evaluation sums up all findings from the research of the given issue. In the discussion, further continuation is suggested for the research in the development and for the continuously controlled component productivity.
Analysis of chip forming mechanism with a high-speed digital camera
Tichý, Vojtěch ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis covers matters related to high-speed digital cameras and their usage in various spheres of human activities, mainly in research of chip forming. Thesis summarises important knowledge needed for creation of high-speed recordings and choice of suitable lenses. Focus is taken on creation of high-speed recordings of chip forming process in turning operation outside grooving by using of different types of chipformers. Main goal is to verify its functionality in specific value range of feed per revolution.
Modern cutting tools for grooving and cutting-off
Poláčková, Naděžda ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
Master´s thesis deals with modern cutting tools for grooving and cutting-off. The main part of this project is analysis of forces in the process of grooving by using two types of chip breaker and their influence on the shape of the chip.
Construction of grooving turning tool with insert for internal turning
Nosek, Adam ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with internal recessing tool with interchangeable inserts. The thesis researches the issue of internal grooving tools. The output is then only a draft internal recessing tool.
Modern cutting tools for grooving and cutting-off
Axmanová, Hana ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The presented diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with modern catting tools for grooving and cutting-off, choice of material of catting inserts, and with types of tool wear and their classification. The second part of the thesis deals with calculation of volumetric wear of catting tool for grooving. There was measured the power load of the new and worn tool in the experimental part and the observed data were evaluated by software. The graphs of power load and volumetric wear of tool were created.
Analysis of modern technologies for parting and recessing
Švihálek, Jakub ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
Bachelor is focused on analysis technologies parting and grooving modern shapes cutting inserts for these applications, used cutting materials, productivity and quality of the machined surface achieved with these technologies.
Modern cutting tools for grooving and cutting-off
Matoušek, Jan ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis in question deals with the influence of geometry of the cutting tool with a non-null angle r and of the cutting conditions on change of cutting tool’s overall deformation during the process of cutting-off and grooving. When conducting the experiments the loading of cutting tool was measured, there was created a simple 3D model of the cutting tool based on measured data, the deformation analysis of the cutting tool by the simulation programme ANSYS was performed and on the grounds of established facts there was made a conclusion on attributes of the cutting tool during the process of cutting-off and grooving.
