Stav obnovy lesa po vichřici Emma na lesní správě Lanškroun - revír Letohrad
Černohousová, Jana
The main objective of submitted thesis was the assessment of the state and a development of forest regeneration of selected areas devastated by the wind caused by the wind disturbance Emma in 2008 in the hunting ground of Letohrad (Forest management Lanškroun). The state of recovery has been analyzed based on registration documents and a field survey. Furthermore, the analysis in the area of interest has been performed focusing on the growth of Norway spruce and a common fir in different microclimate conditions. Next it was monitored which species grows out the most in extreme conditions of clearing area. Another part of the piece dealt with the costs of sites regeneration. Based on the results, the aim of the thesis was to optimize the process of regeneration of disturbed sites in the area of interest. At selected sites of Letohrad area were identified the biggest issues connected to Norway spruce and a common fir planting. Among the main limiting factors were recognized unsuitable choice of site, extreme climatic conditions, weed infestation and a high amount of game. Spruce and fir had the most significant increment in the sites of small area element character. Planting of spruce in the third altitudinal forest zone did not increment well and was visibly lagging. On the contrary, an oak followed by a beech thrived under the same conditions. The highest costs were identified at problematic, still not established disturbed area of 309G11.
Projekt rekonstrukce kalamitních holin na území Arcibiskupských lesů a statků Olomouc
Bednář, Pavel
The topic of the bachelor thesis is concerning reforestation of calamitous cleared forest areas and withering spruce stands (Picea abies, L. Karsten) in the property of Olomouc archbishopric’s forests and estate (Arcibiskupské lesy a statky Olomouc) located in Hostýn Highlands in cadastral territory of Rajnochovice municipality. The first part deals with the causes of spruce wilting at the present and analysis of these causes in the researched location. The practical part concerns complex reforestation project including choice of tree species composition, proposed reforestation method and followed by recommended landscape aftercare until its forest stand provisioning. Further, the bachelor thesis includes overall economic calculation of proposed project concerning reforestation and forest stand provisioning.
Analýza zajištěných kultur jedle a buku na Školním polesí Hůrky SLŠ Písek
Ťoupal, Milan
The diploma thesis aim was analysis of established plantation Silver fir, European beech and natural regeneration of other tree species to Training Forest District Hůrky, Secondary Forestry School Písek. It was after bark beetle disaster. This diploma thesis goes from bachelor thesis: Evaluation of the artificial regeneration of Silver fir and European beech at Training Forest District Hůrky, Secondary Forestry School Písek. Density, share, height, root colar diameter, last increment of height and losses each tree species was find out within stand. 3120 trees was measured in 2013. It is about 467 trees less than 2011. Natural regeneration Scots pine had the biggest losses (29,4 %). Probably it influence on competition. Total losses to artificial regeneration silver fir was 56 %, of which 1,6 % to last two years. The most prefer tree was Scots pine -- 33,4 % and Douglas fir 32,3 %. Silver fir had only 15,3 % from total share. Density trees (Scots pine, Douglas fir, silver fir, European beech, Norway spruce, European larch, sessile oak, cherry, white pine) was 16 830 pcs/ha. The higher height increment had sessile oak (70,1 cm), on the other hand lower height increment had Norway spruce (19,6 cm). Result of this measured is, that silver fir and European beech had not regenerated. Because natural regeneration was domination than artificial regeneration. In current time, it can states, that culture meet all parameters of established plantation.
Analýza stavu a vývoje obnovy lesa na území Lesů města Brna, a.s.
Přikrylová, Hana
The aim of the study was to evaluate long-term state and development of forest regeneration in the area of forest management Deblín (Lesy města Brna, a.s.). Spruce (41,09 %) is the most represented evergreen tree (conifer). Forest management file 45 is that the most represented. 10 years' time period was selected for survey of the state of regeneration (forest management plan 2002 -- 2011). On the basis of the available forest management plan and forest management records the ratio of natural and artificial regeneration in every year was stated - for individual forest management files and whole forest management. Part of the work was also a field survey to assess the forest establishment. On forest management Deblín there were regenerated approximately 222 hectare (7 %) during the years 2002 -- 2011, from that amount 74% was artificial regeneration and 26 % was a share of natural regeneration. Restoring forest area on forest management file 451 is 23 % from which 91 % is artificial regeneration. Natural reproduction wasn't shown on forest management file 017 and forest management file 253. Natural reproduction (59 %) predominates on forest management file 456. On the average 6500 pieces/hectare were planted. Spruce represented only about 29 % and scotch pine about 9 % in artificial regeneration during the years 2002 -- 2011. On the other hand, the planting of oak (about 25 %) and larch (about 14 %) raised. Average costs for regeneration of 1 hectare of forest were 56 306 CZK in the year 2005, 40 347 CZK in the year 2006 and 45 909 CZK per hectare in the year 2007. From the all 20 analysed young forests four weren't evaluated as established after 7 years' time from planting. The limiting factor was the game or unsuitable species composition.
