Erika Grendelová ABSTRACT: The work is devoted to graffiti and its subculture in Prague. The work is focused on the old part of the town, where many monuments, buildings, walls, columns are marked by this art. The work presents graffiti in all its forms, both legal and illegal and tries to figure out where is the border between vandalism and art, then investigates the graffiti author's relationship to history, to other people's property, the attitudes of the population towards this subculture and the expression in spray. Personality and work of Karel Richter,author of the non-fiction literature in the medial and socio-political metamorphoses of time

The Thesis entitled "The Personality and Work of the Author of the Non fiction literature in the Media and the Socio-Political Metamorphoses of the Time" describes the influence of the various aspects of the communication process and its development (changes of the socio-political situation and the non fiction literature itself) in relation to the publicist, writer, historian and translator Karel Richter. He lived through the 1960s, the period of "normalisation" and the 1990s, when the market economy witnessed a rapid development - including the publishing sector. The work describes the metamorphosis of the communication process in retrieving information, the pursuit of political communication in relation to the non fiction literature and other aspects of this genre of the author's works. It focuses on the political and economic influences, which affected Richter's work, and the influence of his work in the media back on him. The Thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part sums up scientific works written about the non fiction literature genre. In his own analyses Richter, too, tries to characterize the genre and its basic problem, which rests in non-established and diverse definitions often contradicting each other. How to write a literary story

This work deals with the methodology of the creation of a literary story. Its aim is to provide the reader with advices from literary active writers, who were somehow engaged in this issue in the past. This work is divided into four parts. The first part is concerned with inborn and gained dispositions which the author should have. The second part introduces the story and its planning to the reader. The third part is about the process of creation a separate story. And the last one the fourth part deals with the process of correction.
The Czech - German dialog at life and writings of nationalist, priest and educator František Pravda

Submitted diploma thesis describes the life of priest František Pravda, born Vojtěch Hlinka. He was well-known writer and founder of short stories with rural theme. The thesis introduces Hlinka as a writer, but primarily as a man of many other professions and interests. The way of life brought him to Hrádek u Sušice to work for an aristocratic family of Sturmfeders. Attention is concerned with mutual relations between the Czech patriot and four generations of German baronial family. Hlinka worked as an educator of feeble-minded Ottokar Sturmfeder in Hrádek´s castle. His extraordinary psychopaedics talent is compared with usual provincial and European contemporary standards. There is also depicted Hlinka´s political, writing and religion career and his other interests. The thesis doesn´t overlook Hlinka´s contacts with important representatives of artistic and political life, which helps to complete the picture of Hlinka´s personality.
Interne t- its opportunities and its risks for end-user in the Slovak Republic

This bachelor thesis provides an overview of possibilities, potential risks and threats on the Internet to citizens as its users, in scope of valid Slovak legislative. The Internet as such presents a specific source of information. It is so specific that in order to get any information about a particular thing one does not need to spend hours of his/her free time, but just to log onto the network and find the information in a much shorter time. The laws and regulations for using the Internet are the same as for other information sources. For example, advertising of tobacco products or weapons is prohibited. Hence it is impossible to carry out any illegal activity. The Internet is supervised by the Ministry of Information Posts and Telecommunications of Slovakian republic as well as other various interest groups like the "People Against Racism", dealing with the breach of laws or seeking to help victims in a way of consultancies. In my bachelor thesis I have provided a list of laws and actions that may not to be carried out on the Internet within legal systems of some countries, particularly within that of the Slovak Republic. In the thesis there are also present various statistics on number of Internet users in Slovakia and from its development several years ago as well as technologies which were used in the past in comparison to what today is used for connecting to the Internet. The second chapter is dedicated to the history of the Internet, how it has evolved, for what purpose etc. In addition differences in prices of Internet providers in Slovakia compared to previous years are released too. In the end of this work a list of potential threats to the internet environment is mentioned -from impending threats by psychologically disturbed individuals or hackers to the every day threats casual users are exposed to.
The Graffiti Subculture. Primitive Street Expression.

The work deals with the graffiti subculture in Czech Republic, concretely in České Budějovice. In the first part it introduces the term and history of graffiti. The main part is devoted to detailed description of the subculture: who is writer and crew which he paints with and how a young man start with graffiti and why. Next it describes relationship between subculture and society and how they interact with each other and how to defined themselves. Based on the Arnold van Genneps teory of rite of passage, the fourth chapter deals the issue of graffiti as a ritual. The following sub-theme is gender in graffiti subculture, because graffiti is not purely a matter of male. The subject of the last part is street art nad grafitti and art. Both isues are on the border of subculture and mainstream and partialy intervene in commerce.

In this context work short summarises case-history and present graffiti in company, her relation to hip-hop culture and to social style today's young people. Further this work presents causes and implication connected with vandalism by the instrumentality of writers on unsuitable sites. Philosophical and Languages aspect of Postmodernism

This study is enganged generally in postmodernism of philosophy in the introduction. The time and mind definition of period of philosophy will be limited at this study first. Study informs about detailed problems of philosophy at the age of postmodernism. There is also a closer elaboration of selected philosophy writers and after that the study will be specialized in the language area. The objective of this study is making of sectorial analysis of problem during the postmodernism in the society. This work will be fragmented into two parts. The first part of thesis will be aimed at the philosophic aspects of postmodernism and its interpretation. The second part is aimed at the language aspects of postmodernism and the feeling of reality. The both parts are made by analytic method. The analytic method as an analysis of reading of authentic texts. Text work is represented by systematic elaboration of each writer and the final comparation of all writers. The study is represented by the long-time interest of the author about the postmodern dilema. Many of czech letters relating to postmodernism are rather available. There are also some exceptions meaning the conversion of letters of G. Vattima into czech language e.g.
