Optimalizace využívání krajiny na farmě rodiny Šťastných ve Svatoslavi
Hudec, Vít
People have been working the land since time immemorial, and it is no different in the area of interest. The family farm specialises in rearing cattle for meat on its land. Forests, pastures, watercourses, woodlands, all this can be found on their farm. It is located in the Vysočina region northwest of Třebíč. In recent years the land has undergone significant changes, the woody vegetation is dying, and the pastures are suffering from drought. The area characterisation of the area of interest has shown that the soils and weathered subsoil on the slopes have a high infiltration rate, while the valleys with low infiltration capacity have been drained in the last century. There have also been changes in climatic conditions, with a 1,1 °C increase in average annual temperature over the last 10 years, a 25 mm decrease in annual rainfall and a change in rainfall distribution. Based on a synthesis of all the information about the area, the paper proposes a set of measures to help the landscape respond flexibly to climate change. The result is an inventory of catalogue sheets relating to each element in the landscape, which will guide farm owners in their management.
Projekt řešení lokality Radošov v k.ú. Veselí nad Moravou
Vlčková, Kateřina
This diploma thesis deals with the solution of the locality Radošov in the cadastral area Veseli nad Moravou. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the bases of the work, dealing mainly with the issue of realization of landscape elements of woody vegetation and also with the issue of recreation in the landscape. The theoretical part also describes the methodology of field survey and data processing. Based on the bases of the work and the processed data, three alternative solutions of the locality are defined according to the different rate of support of recreation in the territory at the expense of biodiversity (1st recreational option, 2nd intermediate intervention and recreation rate and 3rd biodiversity conservation) and the process of selecting the optimal variant is also described. The practical part is the implementation project of the optimal variant of the site, prepared in the form of modified project documentation for zoning proceedings.
The evaluation of woody plantings carried out in revitalization small streams
KELLEROVÁ, Petra
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the success of woody plantings carried out in order to revitalize small streams. For selected restorations was assessed dendrological composition, establishment, health and care after planting. The most common species planted in the revitalization of small streams is the alder (Alnus glutinosa), a pioneer tree species reinforcing shores, to which it was coupled with flowing water home. Sometimes forming groups with gray alder (Alnus incana) but that does not fit stagnant water and silver birch (Betula pendula). Also mountain elm (Ulmus glabra) and willow species (Salix sp.) are widely planted along streams. Locally, there were planted common ash (Fraxinus excelsior) but mostly in very poor condition, and oak (Quercus robur), sporadically rowan (Sorbus aucuparia), dogwood (Swida sanquinea) and Norway maple (Acer platanoides). A statistical evaluation shows that the biggest influence on species composition and state of health of trees has the revitalization age. Also important is the care of the vegetation in later years after planting.
