Backup of servers
Horák, Jan ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Vadinský, Ondřej (referee)
The Bachelor work deals with tools for backing up servers, these software tools are Bacula, Amanda, BackupPC and Windows Server Backup. In introduction author overview concepts of backup and outlines possible backup strategy. The main part of work offers scenarios for which each backup instrument is appropriate. All the tools are described in details in terms of functionality and in terms of working with them during backup and restore files or folders. At the end of work is each tool compare with others in terms of the criteria to choose the best selected program for backup server.

Internal Certification Authority
Kolb, Jiří ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Bumbala, Jan (referee)
With the rising number of internet users emerged the need for mutual authentication and secure communication. In the open environment of the Internet, this service is provided by a trusted third party using asymetric cryptography. This trusted third party - called Certification Authority - provides identification of the communication partners and the security of their communication through certificates it issues. Many large companies use certification authorities today. The goal of my thesis is the design and implementation of a CA for a small company, along with an evaluation of the benefits of introducing this new technology.

The main objective is to introduce a system that came brand new in 2010 and is called the Microsoft SharePoint Foundation and is precisely designed for the given segment of market. The thesis describes the technology with regards to the division of the market, current financial expenses for the company and procedures for obtaining the software. It also contains necessary hardware and software requirements to ensure performance and stability in relation to business processes. Following is the description of a fictitious company in which the system is introduced virtually from the basic product installation, division of the costs needed for training employees to post functionalities suitable for use in a given environment. I find the added value in the practical experience collected during my work on this project. In particular, during installation, set up of rights, simple integration with Active Directory, SQL, and the pre-defined business processes.

Application of Heuristic Methods for Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows
Chytrá, Alena ; Fábry, Jan (advisor) ; Pelikán, Jan (referee)
This thesis demonstrates practical using of vehicle routing problem with time windows (VRPTW) and its solution by heuristic method. There are described teoretical principles of integer models, mathematical definitions of VRP with one or more vehicles, VRPTW and some heuristics for VRP. The practical part is solution of VRP by heuristic nearest neighbor. Product distribution is planed according to the firm settings in Prague. I compare existing situation and computed solution that show benefits of using described methods in conclusion.
