Bachmayer, Milan ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The main aim of the Master project is a design of the guesthouse with wellness, which has nearly zero-energy consumption and is located in Velká Bíteš. For design is used ARCHICAD, for numeric is used DEKSOFT. This Master project consists of three parts. The first part focuses on the design of the guesthouse, the second part concentrates on a technical design and the third part focuses on the draft of different energy sources, its comparison and evaluation. Guesthouse is a three-story building with walkable flat roof. Wellness, cold rooms and massages are located in the basement. Other places of floor consist of sanitary facilities, technical rooms and common rooms. There are also guest rooms on the other floors and a conference hall on the third room. This final draft has much more positive outcomes than other alternatives; with respect to primary energy and impact on the environment. However, the final draft has higher purchase costs and its financial and operational economy is extremely dependent on the prices of electric power.

The master's thesis deals with the shift from visual to multisensory perception. In this context, it works with the concept of comfort, which it applies to both physical and mental aspects of the experience of visitors to art institutions. Creating a sense of comfort is important not only at the end of the process - that is, evoking that feeling in visitors - but also in the creative process. The work uses the environment of wellness (spa) resorts and is based on the growing popularity of relaxation facilities. It uses various clichés that are associated with this environment. Galleries and spa resorts are a leisure activity. Both environments offer care, although each in a different way. In the wellness resorts, others take care of our body. In a museum or gallery, they care more about the mental side, but we still feel that we have to make some effort so that we can be cared for in this way. The diploma thesis is a real, created space, the basic layout and equipment of which are inspired by the sauna. All objects in the space, but also its other "layers" acting on the senses of visitors serve to make people feel comfortable even in an environment that is in a sense inhospitable. Sauna benches invite you to sit down, stored bathrobes offer the feeling of luxury and instantly available care that we know from wellness resorts. The space is filled with the scent released from the diffuser. The last component of the space is the "meditation" audio, which accompanies visitors both in the real space in which it is located and in the abstract space of the scent.

Valík, Jaroslav ; Maar, Radek (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor)
The theme of the diploma thesis was the elaboration of an architectural study of a selected building from the undergraduate project of the urban design of the Kraliky Sports and Recreation Resort in the Ústí nad Orlicí district. The urban-architectural study defined a property suitable for the location of a mountain hotel, which is located in close proximity to the existing urban development south of the city and in the southwestern part of the defined location for the implementation of the sports and recreational resort Kraliky. The city's intention is to build a new hotel complex on its own property to provide maximum service for the emerging resort. The ski hotel is designed as one building with additional structures including ancillary buildings such as paved areas and roads, utilities, etc. The ski hotel is designed in an energy-passive standard, it will meet the requirements for high quality indoor environment and will minimize energy consumption for its operation. The priority of the project is a healthy indoor environment and environmental friendliness. The aim was to create a building that respects the surrounding buildings and its material solution does not protrude into the surroundings.
Sports and Relaxation Centre Vsetín, Ohrada
Mozolová, Monika ; Vostrejž, Dušan (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor)
The diploma thesis was preceded by a specialized atelier focusing on the urban – architectural design of the area of „Vsetín – Ohrada“. During this project, I was mainly focusing on the analysis of the area and the basic design. The project focuses on the area in the southern part of Vsetín. Its borders are formed by Vsetínská Bečva from the northwest side, the 1st class expressway from the northeast side and the waterworks building from the south. The main goal of the project is to attract more visitors to the quiet nature oriented area, who will be provided with a large number of outdoor and indoor activities that can be done in the area. The area is separated by a bridge and an industrial zone from the outskirts of the city and thus lacks a connection to urban development. The project is therefore designed as a separate urban unit, reflecting the natural aspects of the whole area. The advantage of the place is the previously mentioned river Bečva flowing directly through the area and a bike path lining the right bank of this river. Buildings with added soil to create slopes with hangout areas form, among other things, a noise and aesthetic barrier from the city, turning attention to the river and nature. The grass-covered slopes will be made of soil obtained from the current slopes of soil under the auditorium around the spartakiad stadium as well as the excavation work of the newly designed buildings. These slopes also visually unify the buildings, contribute to the organic and natural appearance of the entire design, create hangout areas for spectators and add back the grass areas that were taken away because of the construction of the buildings.
