Crank train of a two-stroke racing motorcycle engine
Šmahel, Matěj ; Tobiáš, Martin (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with numerical-construction design of a two-stroke single cylinder internal combustion engine crankshaft. First part of diploma thesis describes main force effects of crank train and describes selected two-stroke engine. The second part of this diploma thesis is dedicated to numerical modelling of crank train in Multi-Body System. The main goal is to determine an effect of balance factor to motorcycle components. Loads of main crankshaft bearing and engine mounts are evaluated. Acceleration in handlebars and attachment points for footrest is also determined. The results are summarised, and further possible process is outlined.
Cranktrain Design of Aircraft Diesel Engine
Josefíková, Kateřina ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is design of a crank mechanism for diesel aircraft engine. Next then appropriately balance crank mechanism, strength tests and calculation of crankshaft torsional vibration. Developing of drawings documentation of crankshaft.
Turbocharger Rotor Balancing
Šárovec, Marek ; Zubík, Martin (referee) ; Knotek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is specialized search dealing with issues of turbocharger rotor balancing. This work is divided into three main parts. First part deals with history of turbocharger and basics of turbocharger construction. Second part talks about types of unbalance and how to balance. Also, there is description of balancing machines. Last part depends on previous part because there is application of balancing on automotive turbocharger.
Five-cylinder in-line diesel engine with rubber damper
Masnica, Pavel ; Dundálek, Radim (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is design of five-cylinder in-line diesel engine with rubber dumper, with given main parameters, powerstrain design, balancing inertia forces and its moments, modal analysis, calculation of torsion vibrations and design of rubber dumper.
Aircraft engine
Kalugin, Ivan ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis is focused to design piston rods for aircraft petrol six-cylinder engine with 102 kW output power and project their form. Other part deals with analysis of balancing of arranging and fort control one of piston rod.
Five-cylinder in-line diesel engine
Parchański, Martin ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is design of in-line a five-cylinder diesel engine arrangement with given main parameters, power train design, balancing centrifugal and inertia moments and calculation of torsion vibrations. The proposed engine must be based on four-cylinder diesel Zetor engine.
Powertrain of unconvential V-6 diesel engine with rubber damper
Bečka, Petr ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design the crankshaft fork unconventional six-cylinder with offset pivots, the torque balance, modal analysis, vibration analysis of torsional and torsional vibration damper design, stress analysis using FEM.
Five-cylinder in-line diesel engine with viscous type damper
Procházka, Miloslav ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this diploma work is to design moving parts of the five cylinder inline diesel engine with given parameters, then to balance centrifugal forces and moments and design viscous torsional vibrations damper and calculate forced oscilations without the damper as well as with the damper. The designed parts are put to stress analyse by finite elements method. My design is based on similar construction of four cylinder engine Zetor.
Modification of a three-cylinder diesel engine to a single cylinder test engine
Rejnuš, Miroslav ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the design of a single-cylinder diesel piston internal combustion test engine by modifying the initial mass-produced three-cylinder engine. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the introduction to the problems of diesel and experimental single cylinder engines. Subsequent chapters focus on the adaptation of the baseline engine itself, including balancing of inertial forces. Furthermore, the crankshaft operability is checked, including the determination of safety against high-cycle fatigue. The last chapter deals with the design of the connection of the adapted unit to the dynamometer.
Two-cylinder spark ignition engine for passenger vehicle
Richter, Tomáš ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is two-cylinder in-line four stroke petrol engine design based on input parameters. The work consists of different variations of designed crankshaft balancing and balancing unit. Calculation method of torsion vibration and crankshaft fatigue failure solution based on stress analysis are included.
