In vitro model of the cardiovascular periphery
Michálek, Martin ; Zeman, Radek (referee) ; Kohút, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis focuses on modeling of peripheral vascular network in vitro. To achieve this purpose, 2-element Windkessel model is developed. Ball valve was used to achieve resistance and compliance chamber was constructed. Ball valve and compliance chamber were then used in a mock circulatory loop with peristaltic pump. When compliance 2,18 mlmmHg was achieved and ball valve was closed according to it, real values of pulse, systolic, diastolic and mean pressure in systematic arteries were obtained. Compliance chamber altered pulse pressure and valve adjusted mean pressure. Pressure and flow waveforms were measured and input impedance was calculated and shown.
Measurement of Transfer and Immittance Characteristics of Active Circuit Elements
Marek, Pavel ; Vrba, Kamil (referee) ; Kubánek, David (advisor)
This diploma work deals with active circuit elements and proposals of methods for measuring of some parameters of these elements. In the opening part the work deals with general classification of elements used in electronic circuits, ideal and real current sources and power supplies. Further there are stated basic parameters and characteristics presented by producers in a catalogue sheet for active elements MAX435, OPA660, AD844 and MAA741 element which already belongs to the history of IC. Main attention is paid to active circuit elements with current sources driven by CCCS (Current Controlled Current Source) and AD844 (high speed monolithic operational amplifier). In the work there is described a method for determining of selected parameters of active elements with CCCS. Examined parameters were frequency characteristics of current transfer, input impedance and output impedance. The proposed method was verified by a computer simulation on above mentioned active elements by means of PSpice software. Findings along with the description are summarized at the end of the work. In the closing part of the work there is undertaken a real measure of AD844 element based on the proposed method and the findings are compared with particular simulations. However, at first a flat connection board was made by means of EAGLE software and then the measure was performed on it.
Input audio preamplifier used for laboratory measurements
Kučera, Ondřej ; Kaller, Ondřej (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This article looks at pre-input low-frequency amplifiers for laboratory work. The task was to study, design and build a fully functional pre-input amplifier for use in low frequency audio technology. In each section, we will discuss the various preamps, which are classified according to signal processing parameters. The construction of each amplifier uses discrete components and operational amplifiers. The second part of the article looks at different measuring devices, such as input sensitivity, transfer characteristics and input impedance etc., which would form part of the amplifier.
Mini-whip antenna
Pařízek, Tomáš ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
The thesis deals with the impedance matching of electrically very short antennas to the real resistance 50 . The antenna is considered as an input of an emitter follower, which plays the role of the impedance transformer. This follower transforms a large complex input impedance, which is typical for electrically short antennas, to a real output resistance. The output impedance was matched by appropriate matching circuitry to 50 in the frequency band of operation.
