Object detection in video using neural networks and Android application
Mikulec, Vojtěch ; Kiac, Martin (referee) ; Myška, Vojtěch (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the implementation of functional solution for classifying road users using mobile device with Android operating system. The goal is to create Android application which classifies vehicles in real time using rear-facing camera and saves timestamps of classification. Testing is performed mostly with own, diversely modificated dataset. Five models are trained and their performance is measured in dependence on hardware. The best classification performance is from pretrained MobileNet model where transfer learning with 6 classes of own dataset is used – 62,33 %. The results are summarized and a method for faster and more accurate traffic analysis is proposed.
Pojištění odpovědnosti za škodu způsobenou provozem vozidel MHD
Sýkora, Lukáš
The bachelor thesis deals with the development of insurance from the first signs of insurance to the present. It also explains all the important terms related to this issue. Further focuses are primarily on non-life insurance, consequently to the area of motor third party liability insurence. It offers a view of the history of Brno public transport. It describes the current situation and looks into the future visions. Last but not least, it points to risk areas and areas with the highest traffic accident rates in Brno.
Funkční testování sběrnice CAN Flexible Data-Rate
Macek, Mojmír
The topic of this thesis is the transfer of information in vehicles using bus systems. The theoretical part is devoted to the description of communication as a means of passing information and to the mode of communication between individual technical systems via communication networks. Furthermore, it summarizes the specifics of selected communication systems. The practical part of the thesis includes an experiment for which the building of a CAN FD bus model was required. For communication purposes, the programming of SPI protocol on the Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) was crucial to provide access to the CAN FD controller. The result is a bus receiving and transmitting test and a timing test for reading and writing data.
Bezpečnost přepravy nebezpečných chemických látek
Neužil, Filip
Bachelor thesis talks about asociated problems of transport of various dangerous substances, particulary road transport. This thesis also investigates the basic law principles asociated with transport of dangerous substances, the means of marking and labeling of vehicles suitable for their transport and possible accidents that have happened during their transport. Within the list of seleced dangerous substances you may find their respective physical, chemical and toxicological properties as a means to show what dangerous substances we encounter on daily basic eithout fully comprehending how thretening they might be. The last part of this thesis is focused on the construction of tanks to transport these substances in over long distances, particulary propellants. Also all the necessary equipment, safety and security precautions to eliminate the possibility of misuse. In the conclusion we investigated all the risks that may occur when transporting dangerous substances.
Computational Model and Analysis of Vehicle Driving Dynamics
Mrázek, František ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the creation of a computational model and analysis of vehicle dynamics in connection with the principles and rules that are closely related to vehicle dynamics. We will use the key physical phenomena related to the driving dynamics of the model vehicle, suitable for modeling and analysis. The model will demonstrate the driving dynamics of vehicles in several appropriately selected situations and creates the possibility to compare the results with data obtained from freely available publications and tests.
Stanovení základních emisí z výfuků osobních vozidel ve vybraných úsecích dopravní trasy
KAHUDA, Jan
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of environmental pollution caused by the production of harmful substances originated from the automobile combustion engines and the calculation of production of basic pollutants emitted from the passenger car exhausts travelling on selected sections of transport route. The aim of the work was to calculate the amount of emitted harmful substances, according to the composition of the vehicle fleet on some selected monitored sections of transport routes. For analysis were selected three stretches of roads in České Budějovice. The analysis considered the vehicle fleet composition, determination of traffic intensity, average speed of vehicles and traffic fluency on the transport routes. The calculated values were obtained using the special software MEFA 13
Strategy of the Innovations of Vehicle Inspection Emission Stations
Marušková, Helena ; Růžička, Miroslav (advisor) ; Tichá, Ivana (referee)
The doctoral thesis Strategy of the Innovations of Vehicle Inspection Emission Stations is engaged in marketing strategies and innovations of the vehicle inspection emission stations in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is dedicated to the references and describes marketing environment, SWOT analysis, marketing strategies, marketing mix and several "P". It also focuses on the innovation and innovation strategies, the different types of marketing research, the exhaust emissions of combustion engines, the homologation regulations and the periodic emission measurements at the vehicle inspections emission stations in the Czech Republic and in the world. The aim of this thesis is to describe and analyze the current situation and work up a strategy of the innovations of vehicle inspection emission stations. The practical part is devoted to analysis of the marketing environment (PEST analysis and the microenvironment), from which a SWOT analysis of vehicle inspection emission stations and further describes the individual components of the marketing mix SME. The chapter Marketing research SME is divided into quantitative and qualitative marketing research, which lists the various questions, charts and answers resulting from marketing research. Quantitative research is conducted through a questionnaire survey and qualitative marketing research obtains answers based on structured interviews. The paper concludes with several suggestions of the innovation, evaluation of research questions and a summary of the individual chapters, which shows that too stringent emission limits will not lead to their real reductions. Regular tests for SMEs are set up properly and does not need to be changed. Creating a central information system (one for both STK and SME) and the implementation of video surveillance - these changes are needed not only for technical inspections stations, but also emission inspection stations. Due to the increasing number and age of vehicles and especially the fact that the current emission tests of vehicles in no-load mode engines are not able to detect all faults, the new methodology of measure emissions is needed.
Vehicles Re-Identification with License Plate
Hažmuka, Tomáš ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Sochor, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis describes design and development of an aplication for reidentification of vehicles in multiple camera streams. It explains methods of image processing, object detection and identification of symbols. Created application uses  OpenCV library. It is written in the C++ language, standart C++14. Furthemore, this thesis describes testing of application on input data including training of the reference data.
The Present State and Development Trends of Active Safety Elements.
Havel, Jan ; Rasch, František (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
There is effected extensive background research of active safety elements in contemporary vehicles, focused on operating, condition and observation safeness, in this work. For chosen elements are in detail circumscribed asked requirements and modern structural design. Further is processed survey choice elements after elect producers and reviewed development trends hereafter
Analysis of the mass concentration of airborne dust in the road transport depending on traffic environment.
SKALIČKA, Jiří
The goal of my thesis is to measure the mass concentration of airborne dust in the road traffic, in relation to the nature of the traffic environment and transport routes. The paper provides an overview of the measured values from the individual measuring points, which differed in the intensity of traffic and the size of dust sources. Objective information are obtained with the measurements, about the actual impact of air pollution by emissions from non-combustion processes, on the movement of vehicles in road traffic.
