Šumava cabin as a place of memory

The work deals with the tramp locality in Šumava. It is based on available resources and interviews with people knowing the cabin. Describes the stages and history of this place. Captures and characterizes authorities and communities close to the cabin. It places the cabin in their context. It mainly describes the organization of the CHKO Šumava (Protected Landscape Area) and deals extensively with tramping as a phenomenon of spending free time during the cabin's existence. The diploma thesis seeks answers to the questions of who is a tramp, why the cabin is an important place for this community. It searches for common elements between individual narrators and also answers the fundamental question of what defines a real tramp and if the cabin is really a tramp place.
