Influence of the European Union on the mobility of volunteers coming to the Czech Republic

Diploma thesis "Influence of the European Union on the mobility of volunteers coming to the Czech Republic" deals with the mobility of volunteers from partner countries of the EU who participate in the European Voluntary Service - the EU programme of. non -formal education in the Czech Republic. The thesis follows the existing development of mobility of people till 2004, when the Council of the EU used its increased competence in the area of freedom, security and justice and approved the Directive 2004/114/EC on the conditions of admission of third - country nationals for the purpose of studies, pupils exchange, unremunerated training or voluntary service. It is the first time ever when the Directive mentions the volunteers as a specific target group of the mobility for educational purpose. The paper evaluates if the directive reflects the present challenges of recognition of the non - formal education on the European level. The role and the effectiveness of the U.S. visa system with a concentration on the threat of terrorism and illegal immigration

This bachelor thesis deals with the visa system of the United States of America. The aim of this thesis is to assess the security feature of contemporary visa system and his effectiveness in the struggle against terrorism and illegal immigration. The theoretical part of the thesis defines basic security concepts. It describes contemporary security system of the U.S. and sets the visa system into it. The practical part deals with the role of the visa system in 11/9 terrorist attacks and compare it to the current situation. It also analyses the role of visas in the struggle against illegal immigration with a concentration on the problem of overstays.
International transport business

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to characterize the present conditions of enterprising in international transportation of goods and to provide realistic perspective in the very business. My intention was to introduce more concretely the basic obligations required when establishing an enterprise and consequently specify the conditions of the successful operating. In the first, methodological part I focused on the issue of the foundation of a business which operates in international transport. Here I summarized the exact requirements, necessary transportation permits and the international agreements which determine the duties of the carriers. Further I referred to the obligations and authorities of state agencies in international transportation. The second part deals with the operation of the company called ROAD MASTERS. In this section I mostly focused on the attributes of occupying workers. The last part emphasizes the differences between the western and eastern requirements for carriers. Here I analyzed the assignments of the union called ČESMAD SLOVAKIA and further conditions of transporting to the Russian federation, namely the TIR carnet and visas.
