Comparison of Non-Profit Organizations Funding

The bachelor's thesis deals with non-state non-profit organizations and their financing options. The theoretical part deals with the position of non-profit organizations in the national economy and the explanation of basic terminology. The work focuses only on non-state non-profit organizations, on their characteristics, functions, forms or types. The next part presents the basic sources of funding and the concept of fundraising. The practical part is focused on the financing of selected organizations and the comparison of the results. The methods of analysis, comparison and synthesis were used for the purposes of the bachelor thesis. The information is from an interview with representatives of organizations, as well as their annual reports and websites served as a data source. The evaluation of financing and marketing of individual organizations was followed by a comparison in the area of financing, assets and liabilities, costs and revenues, economic results, services provided, employee satisfaction and marketing. After that, it was possible to come to the conclusion, for example, that the main source of funding for both selected organizations are contributions from the public administration, on which they depend. At the end, several changes were recommended to the organizations, which would lead to the improvement of the financing and the overall functioning of the organization.

This bachelors thesis has as a main goal to determine main economical factors of growth by applying methods of financial analysis on chosen company SVCS Process Innovation s. r. o. which is a manufacturing company based in Czech Republic. As main resources used for this analysis were used financial statements between years 2014 and 2018. First the thesis is oriented on theoretical part where the analysis is described in detail as well as all its parts of the analysis. The second half of the thesis is oriented on applying the financial analysis onto the chosen company where the result of the analysis should answer the main economical factors of growth. As the final part of this thesis is recommendation which were concluded from applied analysis.

Financial analysis of the company

The aim of this work is to provide information about the company and especially to interpret financial analysis for the period of five years based on the accounting statements. The methods of the financial analysis are applied to a chosen company. One of them is the technical analysis of the company which includes the analysis of difference trends, the analysis of ratio indicators and the analysis of difference indicators. The vertical analysis requires knowledge of the structure of assets and liabilities in the company, for the horizontal analysis the data are obtained from the financial statements. An important contribution is extensive evaluation of the financial situation of the company for a certain, pre-selected period and final recommendations regarding future decision-making proces in this area.

Financial Analysis of Selected Nonprofit Organization

The aim of bachelor thesis is a financial analysis of the biggest non-profit organization in the Czech Republic People in Need and to evaluate its current situation of financial activities on the basis of data from balance sheet and profit and loss statements in years 2008 - 2012. In the first chapter there non-profit sector in the society is described, firstly from the historical context and secondly from the perspective of goals and purposes. Indicators, which are necessary for implementation of financial analysis in the practical part are defined in the second chapter. In the practical third chapter the concrete non-profit organization People in need is described and there the outcomes from horizontal and vertical analysis are evaluated. In the last fourth chapter the financial health of organization is evaluated by means of proportional indicators autarky, profitability, liquidity, activity and indicators of financial independence.

This bachelor thesis analyses the financial situation of a selected retail company using elementary methods of financial analysis. The first part of the thesis focuses on the definition and clarification of the theoretical concepts that relate to the issues being examined. These concepts are also applied in the analytical part of the thesis and are used to propose a solution to the examined issues. The analytical part of the thesis describes the retail company in detail and provides financial analysis and evaluation of the company using the specific methods described in the first part. Based on the financial analysis, the last part of the thesis presents specific proposals to improve the financial situation of the company.

The aim of this work was to describe the financial situation of Sylfa Ltd. and the assessment of its financial health. Based on the results of the analysis, evaluate the main sources of inefficiency. The theoretical part consists of literature review in the field of financial analysis purpose, phases, sources and methods of assessment of the situation. The practical part focuses on assessing the situation of a company. The company's analysis was conducted over the period 2012-2016. Financial analysis was performed using these basic methods, ie structure and trend analysis, differential analysis, ratio analysis, pyramidal decomposition of the ROE indicator, Kralick Quicktest and IN05.

Goal of this bachelors thesis is to evaluate financial health of enterprise OLMA, a.s., find its strengths and weaknesses and in conclusion position on the market towards competitors. Theoretical part is explaining individual terms of strategic and financial analysis for understanding given problematics. Practical part of this thesis will analyze, using specific tools and methods, individual pointers. By using these pointers I will find out, whether strategy, set by chosen company, is effective and if it is competitive enough against other companies of same industry.

This bachelor thesis's goal is to conduct a financial analysis of the company Mlékárna Valašské Meziříčí, spol. s r. o. for the period 2011-2015 and forecast its financial results for 2016. With this intention, the thesis contains several chapters. To begin with, the methodical part explains ratios and other methods used to perform the financial analysis. Next, the practical chapter consists of vertical and horizontal analysis, analysis of financial ratios, creditworthy and bankruptcy models and also subchapter with forecasted dairy processor's results for 2016. The sources for this thesis are public year-ending financial statements, annual reports, company's webpage etc.

The bachelor thesis deals with financial analysis of a company called "Isolit - Bravo, spol. s r. o." during the period 2011-2015. The work consists of two main parts - theoretical and practical. The first part is about general principles of financial analysis, its users and information sources. Further,the thesis features a description of financial ratios as well as bancruptcy and credibility models. The practical part focuses on introduction of "Isolit - Bravo, spol. s r. o." and an aplication of financial analysis from the theoretical part. The results of financial ratio are compared with results in the industry. The conclusion describes overall financial situation of the company.

The last section deals with financial analysis of the company using financial ratios, bankruptcy and credibility models.
