The Present State and Development Trends of Passenger Cars Gearbox Design.

The bachelor thesis includes complex information about nowdays gearbox, which are used for automobile. In general it describes constructional ordering and principles of function of gearbox. The next part provides the information about individual kinds of gearbox and compares their properties and parameter. The most extensive part is engaged in dual clutch gearbox as the most developing kind of transmission of automobile. In the end author deals with the most probable future development in branch of gearbox for segment of automobile.

Individual chapters are describing main functional groups and different options of their construction. The final project contains the relavant piece of evidence about the development and use of frictional gearbox with the infinitely variable transmission, which is used in cars. The construction and the principle of those gearboxes is also described. Furtermore, advantages and disadvantages are assessed with respect to the conventional gearbox. Finally, the author’s opinions and views about frictional gearbox with the infinitely variable transmission are presented.

Animation of the behavior of flexible power transmission elements

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the creation of animations that are focused on belt transmissions and chain transmission. The content of the work is the selection of the displayed principles, the collection of corresponding theoretical equations, the transfer of these equations into the system of animation and the final demonstration of selected phenomena with help of output in form of educational animations. This thesis deals with the topics of kinematic and dynamic parameters of the transmission with slip and without slip, the course of forces along the neutral fiber of the flat or V-belt and the effect of polygon causing uneven speed of the chain transmission.
