Differences in emotions recognition among preschool children

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to map the emotion recognition skills of pre-school children. The theoretical part initially contains a basic definition of emotion and afterwards also deal with face databases and then the basic emotions, that are also a part of the empirical part of the thesis, are defined. The development of a pre-school child and its important milestones are also presented. Last but not least, the topic of emotion processing is explained, specifically the processing of facial expressions. The empirical part includes interviews with two kindergarten teachers including the headmistress, and a sample of 16 children (N = 16). The children are then divided into groups, based on the teachers' assessment, whether they have a problem with discipline or not and whether they come from a complete/incomplete family. Furthermore, they are compared with each other. The sample of children ranges from 4 to 5/6 years.
Impact of family background on preschool children musicality

Bachelor thesis will examine the influence of the family on the musicality of the preschool child. The theoretical part will summarize current knowledge on the musicality of a child under the age of 6 years. The practical part will focus on research in kindergartens. Using the questionnaire will be collected information about current conditions for the development of musicality of children in a family environment. Questions will be designed for parents who would like to personally addressed in kindergartens in the Chomutov. The research results will be compared with historical data doc. Use of non-traditional techniques and tools in creative activities in kindergarten with respect to the safety and health of the child.

This thesis deals with the question of using non-traditional techniques and tools in creative activities in kindergarten and the extent to which respects the safety and health of children in these activities. The theoretical part is focused on the development of preschool children, innovative techniques and equipment and safety precautions for children in the context of the General educational program. The practical part deals with the evaluation questionnaire aimed at identifying the use of non-traditional techniques in kindergarten and safety compliance. The annexes are accompanied by certain kinds of non-traditional art techniques.
A child from socially disadvantaged environment from kindergarten teacher's point of view

The topic of bachelor thesis is socially disadvanteged child. The thesis is devided to two parts: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part it is summarized the meaning of social disadvantage and the problematic of social exclusion. There is also monitored the development of preschool age children from three to six years, where I compare the physical, motor and cognitive features. Then I describe specific features of the personality of socially disadvantaged child. Finally, the theoretical part is focused on the personality of kindergarten teacher characteristics and current approaches in preschool education. The practical part is based on the use of quantitative method - questioning. It summarizes the results of 113 teachers and kindergarten teachers, where the aim is to find out what the differences perceived by teachers for socially disadvantaged children how to work with them and if the introduction of compulsory pre-school year would positively affect the development of a socially disadvantaged child.

Development of somatosensory system in the context of the postural - locomotion system and the as sessment possibilities

The aim of the work is to describe the somatosensory system function development in the context of postural- locomotion function in preschool age and to describe the possible assessment of this function in preschool children, on the basis of research. The theoretical chapters deal with the development of the somatosensory system and the postural- locomotion system, also with the physical development of the preschool child. The practical part presents the outcomes of the research, namely how the development and usage of somatosensory signals by central nervous system is influenced by growth of the preschool child's organism. Lastly, the work presents the possibilities how to assess the preschool child's somatosensory system in common physioterapeutic practice. A preschool child's case report is included.
Separation of a child when entering kindergarten

The work deals with the separation of a child when entering kindergarten and aims to describe the symptoms of a child who is separated from his parents. First, we define the concept of preschool age, and then it is characterized in terms of developmental psychology, which is investigated further by the socialization of the child. Other chapters describe pre-school education and kindergarten as an institution and of course the very notion of separation. The subchapters deal with the connection, the actual separation, the fear of separation, the child's behavior and how the parents or the child's homeroom teacher can help in this process. The research is devoted to case studies and seeks a way to answer the main research question: How does a child express itself during separation? The knowledge we gain through participant observation of one boy and indepth semi-structured interviews with his mother.
A handicapped child position in a group of pre-school children.

The name of this work is ?The Position of a child with a disability in a group of pre-school children?. The work ist divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter describes the developmental special traits of pre-school age, the second part deals with mental retardation, its characteristics, etiology and classification. Hereafter, it shows the psychological special traits of mentally disabled children and their education in specialized and common kindergarten. The third part deals with the problem of blindness, its classification and etiology. It defines also the diagnosis of anophthalmia, focusing on developmental differencies of a blind child at pre-school age and its education. The practical part presents the results of qualitative research. The methods used in this investigation are observation and projective and sociometric method. The theme was to determine the position of two variously handicapped children in a group of other healthy children, monitoring typical behavior of these children and their possible impact on relationships in the classroom.
