Vývoj a chov plemen chladnokrevých koní v České republice
Sotolářová, Lenka
The aim of this work is to describe and characterize the history and the current situation in the cold-blooded horses breeding in the Czech Republic. We will clarify the origin of the cold-blooded breeds and then we will deal with the breeding of these breeds in his-tory. We extend today's breeding aim, minimal body rates when recording in a stud-book, utility features, and exterior description. Now following the chapter of perfor-mance tests, which is divided by gender. Continously, we will deal with performance test rules, which are listed in the studbook of the breeds and are the same for all three recognized cold-blooded breeds. We will continue to add horses to breeding books and continue to use these horses for leisure activities - cold-blooded horses, including For-man ride, pair control and heavy run. The last and very important chapter is the current situation in the breeding where we can say something about the number of these horses, in number lines and the current breeding stallions of the individual breeds, we will show the breeding centers (Klokočov, Tlumačov and Písek) and finally we will deal with the inclusion of these horses in genetic resources and Masters of the Czech Republic in individual categories.
Vyhodnocení vybraných hřebců českého teplokrevníka podle kvality dcer
Vlášková, Tereza
The diploma thesis deals with an evaluation of chosen Czech warm-blooded stallions based on the quality of their daughters. A collection of 474 mares which are registered in a Czech warmblood studbook and passed a basic performance test of three years old mares was chosen. Following information was collected: breed, birth year, inclusion year, father, jump index of father, plus points for class, type, exterior, performance and jump index. Collected data was processed in programs Microsoft Excel 2016 and UNISTAT 6.5, with the use of a general linear GLM model with a fixed effect. The GLM model was used to analyse the influence of individual factors on the dependent variables (class, type, exterior and performance of the mares). Subsequently, in case of statistically significant influence of the observed effect, the differences between monitored individuals were determined by multiple comparison according to the Tukey-B method and Scheffe method. For the class and exterior, the best rated mares were after the stallion 2997 Aristo Z (x̄ = 7,78 points). The best mark for category were also given the mares after father 2997 Aristo Z (x̄ = 7,90 points). The most performing and stable offspring has the stallion 1028 Manillon Rouge (x̄ = 7,94 points). Best jump indexes have again the daughters of the stallion 2997 Aristo Z (x̄ = 123,2 points). Through the general linear module, it was found out that the father has statistically highly conclusive influence on the class, exterior and performance of daughters (mares), since P ≤ 0,01. Other factors do not have statistically conclusive influence on dependent variables.

Performance tests of cold-blooded mares are the only control criterion of their performance and characteristic features, along with completing assembly centre and entry into the appropriate herd book. This dissertation inquires into the analysis of performance tests results that the mares went through in the period 2004 - 2016. During this period, the tests evaluated the performance of 1099 mares where was 39.58% ČMB, 36.03% SN and 24.39% N. There was found that the number of mares SN participating performance tests rises unlike the number of mares N which drops. In the next part of this work, we found that the best total rating in the monitored period achieved the breed mares SN with an average of 7.92 points, as well as minimum and maximum of average total rating assumes higher values than the breed ČMB and N. The third feature (value 8.28) achieved in the partial character of assessment performance tests the highest average mark. This feature is in total best evaluated by all breeds. In the tests of performance in the monitored period there was a cold-blooded mares evaluated with 3260 marks. Out of these marks it was found out that a statistically significant difference between each breed wasn´t at characteristic mark of step when the P> 0.05 level. Other characters achieved p-value of 0.001, which indicates the difference of the breeds in those marks. It was proved the dependence of the overall assessment on the marks of partial character of assessment performance tests of cold-blooded mares and there was a notable tightness of dependence of character saddiction in the first, second, third and the fourth - willingness -controllability. It follows that the discovery of the most difficult move affects the most the result of an overall assessment of performance tests of cold-blooded mares.
Zhodnocení zkoušek z výkonu vybraných plemen ohařů v ČR

The Thesis deals with evaluation of performance tests of Wiemaraner shorthaired pointer and of German shorthaired pointer. Results from autumn tests, forest tests, general tests, tests of tracing of shot game, special water works and test of talents held in 2011, 2012 and 2013 were used as a source material. German shorthaired pointer was demonstrably more successful in selected disciplines than Wiemaraner shorthaired pointer. Results are influenced by several factors because there is very low coefficient of heritability in hunting qualities. Both breeds are suitable for collective hunting. For future, breeding clubs should start to deal more with hunting qualities. Moreover, it is recommended to carry out heredity examination of offsprings, like it is done by german-shorthaired-pointer breeding club.

The theme of this thesis is the Analysis of performance tests of stallions of the Czech warm-blood. The underlying database contains 821 breeding stallions included for breeding of the Czech warm-blood in the years 1974 - 2014. The aim of this work is to investigate the influence of breed, country of breeding, year of birth, the father and the father of the mother of classified stallions on their basic body measurements, breed type and sex expression, exterior. For the analysis we used the program MS Excel 2003 and the generalized linear model GLM in the programming package UNISTAT 5.5. The results indicate a statistically highly documented influence of the breed on the us reference body measurements (KVH, KVP, OH, OHOL) and breed type, the year of the birth on OH, OHOL, breed type and exterior, father on OHOL, the father of the mother on KVP and the country of breeding on OH.
Performance evaluation of Oldkladruby horses
IGNATOVA, Natalia
Horse breeding has always been favored over the other sectors of animal husbandry. Oldkladruby horse, bred in the Czech Republic for more than 400 years, is one of the oldest breeds of horses. This original breed is included in animal genetic resources. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the results of Oldkladruby horse performance tests. The database was formed by descendants of fathers in breeding process in 1994 - 2014. The work follows the five factors reliability in heavy draught, team of horses maneuverability, marathon, movement, rideability and overall performance. Performance test is an important factor when selecting individuals for breeding, as well as a basis for determining performance of horses. Emphasis was placed on the analysis of monitored indicators and eventually on evaluation of the mechanics of movement, which is very important for Oldkladruby horses. Rudolfo, Roma and Siglavi Pakra strain represented a small number of individuals and their values are regarded as indicative. The largest number of mares which have undergone performance testing, belong to Generalissimus strain in the white color horses and Solo and Sacramoso colored black. Low values of the variation coefficient were found for all groups of mares and show considerable results balance. The results showed that for Oldkladruby mares in the mechanics of movement when comparing color variations, the highest marks reached strain Generalissimo. Due to the small number of stallions in the evaluation, we compared only their color variation. The low coefficient of variation indicates that the performance of stallions reached high level. When comparing the results of mares and stallions, we found that stallions excelled in all disciplines evaluated over mares.
Evaluation number and quality of offspring stallions Silesian noriker
BARTOKOVÁ, Markéta
The Silesian noriker is an original Czech breed of a coldblooded horse whose stud book was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture in 1995.The Silesian noricker is a strong coldblooded horse with a relatively less harmonious body structure used at present not only in agriculture and forestry but also for rehabilitation and recreation purposes. The aim of the diploma work was to work out a list of information about stud horses being in the contemporary stud as noted down in the stud book. Besides, the work focuses at proving a possible existence of the differences between the outcome of the evaluation of the exterior, performance tests and the characteristic features inherited by the descendants of the stallions. Moreover, the main aim of the work was to find out if there are individuals among stud stallions which have sufficient number of descendants being able to provide an objective evaluation of heredity control. Studbook Silesian noriker recorded 44 sires, of which only 23 subjects had descendants in breeding; the number was 266 individuals. The stud book of the SN kept files of 44 stud stallions out which only 23 individuals had descendants in stud, whose number was 266. The data for the purpose of the analysis have been based on the records in the stud books of the association of the unions of horse breeders: body measurements, evaluation of the exterior and the results of the performance tests. All the data have been presented and evaluated both in charts and graphs. In conclusion, stallions having 10 and more descendants have been evaluated in detail and the results of the latter have been compared with the average ones of SN in stud. The analysis has proved that only 68% of the whole number of descendants is represented by those written in the stud book of SN. The average body measurements were: stick withers 159,07 cm; tape withers 170,88 cm, chest perimeter 204,85 cm, shin perimeter 23,20 cm. The evaluation of the exterior showed the average result 7,47 points. The final result of the performance tests was 7, 47 points. According to the detailed analysis, out of 75 descendants only 44% belonged to SN. The Top rated offspring (exterior 7,76 and results performance tests 8,03) had of stallion Steiman 2885
Zhodnocení exteriéru plemene moravský teplokrevník
Brabcová, Jana
The presented thesis deals with the evaluation exterior of Moravian warm-blooded horse breed. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of statistical five selected effects (year of birth, sex, breed, breeder district headquarters, district headquarters of the owner) for five of the variables, which were points of evaluation "ZZUV" a basic body dimensions measured on the breed MT. The research began by defining comparable basis in the breadth of breeding individuals born between 1980 -- 2009 and registered to 1. 1. 2014 PK MT. It was about 200 breeding mares and 24 stallions. This was followed by the collection of necessary data using Microsoft Excel 2010. This was specifically about gender, year of birth, belonging to the breed, the number of points obtained in "ZZUV" values of body measurements, "PG" %, the highest performance achieved offspring of horses and monitored their color. This data were compiled statistical program continues Unistat 5.1 for Excel using the general linear model with fixed variables (GLM) and statistically significantly affected variables were forwarded to the multiple comparison method of Scheffe effects. All data were then divided into groups and compiled in tables and graphs. They represent the fair value and the percentage achievement on the one hand the whole population, but also compared gender stallions and mares.
Performance tests warm-blood stallions and their evalaution
BÚDOVÁ, Alena
The bachelor´s work deals with the performance tests of warm-blooded stallions and their evaluation. The progress and result of testing performance of warm-blooded stallions in the Czech Republic is analysed in the bachelor's work. The methods of testing stallions are described in the text. The stallions are evaluated under the mare. They can be placed into tested breeding. They have to meet the requirements for granting a pre-selection of stallions into breeding. Then they have to complete a 70day-long test and a performance test successfully. They are evaluated according to competitions for young horses and according to their sports performance. Their offspring are tested. The share of each foreign breeds in the Czech Republic is described in the work. Their testing in neighboring countries in selected breeders associations is described, too. The data were drawn from the records of the Czech warmblood breeders association, Central registry of horses and Czech equestrian federation. It was compiled into tables, graphs and then evaluated in the program Statistica. In the end of the work it was found out, that the number of mares reduces (245 mares less per year in average) and the number of newborn foals is reducing too (average of 139 per year) in the Czech Republic. 354 stallions were placed into tested breedings in the years from 2009 to 2013. From this period only 6 stallions finished the 70-day-long test successfully. The Czech warmblood breed still has the largest number of participants in the pre-selection and the performance test after the 70-day-long test. Every year in the Czech Republic the number of participants and numbers of starts in showjumping and dressage competitions are increasing.
Changes of body conformation of Old Kladruby horses
KARDOVÁ, Lenka
Horses have been companions to humans for thousands of years, both as work animals and as part of our culture. The Old Kladruber horse is a Czech autochthonous breed included in animal genetic resources. The aim of my thesis was to assess the gradual change in the external features of Old Kladruber horses in the years 1900 2013 in both the colour variants. I focused on 5 body measurements (height at the withers measured by tape, height at the withers measured by stick, girth of chest, girth of bone) collected for 1021 horses registered in the breed registry. The obtained values have been summarized and subsequently statistically and graphically evaluated. The results imply that values of wither height of Old Kladruber horses measured both by tape and stick have been increasing, whereas their weight has slightly dropped. In white horses, the average increase in the tape-measured wither height amounted to 3.5 cm and to 7 cm in black horses. Stick height at the withers has shown an increase ranging between 3 4.7 cm in white horses, while in black horses, the values ranged between 6 10 cm. In stallions, the chest girth was determined at 197.5 cm. White mares had a chest girth of 199.55 cm. Almost identical value, i.e. 198.13 cm, was determined for black mares. The bone girth has remained almost unchanged. A slight decrease was observed in white Old Kladruber horses stallions in the years 1970 2013 by 0.5 cm. This change was most probably caused by the addition of blood of other breeds in the past. A drop in the weight was monitored over the time interval of 1930 2013 and it ranged between 22 kg and 73 kg according to the monitored group. This drop in the weight and increase in the body frame implies a change in the type of the horse, tending rather to the sports type. However, this change can also be affected by the conditions in the environment. Only in unique cases, the values of the variation coefficient in the years 1990 2013 exceeded the limit of 10%. Groups of monitored horses of both colour variants can thus be considered balanced. In the years 1990 2013, several horses of a non-compliant standard height were also included in the breed. This was required as part of the attempt to preserve all of the existing lines and families as well as to keep the coefficient of relationship low.
