Knowledge of rowing between students of Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport

Title: Knowledge of rowing between students of Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. Objectives: The main objective of this work is to compare the knowledge breadth of the students of the sports-oriented faculty with faculty (university) which is not focused on sport fields. Another objective is to explore students' general knowledge of the sport of rowing. Methods: The quantitative research was used to determine the necessary information, using personal interviews with questionnaires. The questionnaire on the given subject was created before the interview, which was then completed by the 152 respondents from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. Results: Based on the obtained data, we can say that the surveyed students of the sports Faculty of Physical Education and Sport have a wider knowledge of rowing than respondents of the Czech University of Life Sciences. In summary, all the respondents have an only basic knowledge of rowing. The name of the Czech rowing representative said only 51% of all respondents.
