Game Interface with Data Projector and Leap Motion
Kendra, Matej ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Najman, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes various game interfaces for human and gradually there are shown more modern and common available interfaces. Work closely describes how you can play games on a regular projector and sensors for gestures detection - Kinect and Leap Motion. This work focus on evaluation of aspects of table-game design with these components and also on display view calibration between projector and Leap Motion. Part of the project is devoted to describing the board game Catan, of which rules are taken to write down specification and options of player. According to this knowledge is then described the design of the play-set and the design of several interfaces of the game. Implementation is briefly described and final chapters covers forms of the testing methods of interfaces and testing evaluation from user perspective.
Web-based tool for creating a menu according to the user's preferences
Pojsl, Jakub ; Bobák, Petr (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and implement a web application that would simplify the planning of meals for its users and could thus contribute to the improvement of their eating habits. The greatest attention was given to the design and testing of a user interface that would allow users to efficiently create and manage their meal plans. The application was implemented using the Python Django framework. It allows users to easily plan meals, track dietary nutrient intake, and automatically generate diet plans and individual meals based on their physical predispositions, goals, and lifestyle.
Application for Modern Sports Training Utilising the Sensory Data and Positional System
Bluetooth Low Energy Voting Device
Vybíral, Tomáš ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design and implementation of embedded voting device and application for voting. The proposed voting device uses Bluetooth Low-Energy protocol which helps to achieve low energy consumption. The result of this thesis is a fully functional prototype. UI application was created using the Qt framework and is responsible for handling wireless connections, processing of individual voices and displaying the voting results.
Solving Problems with Uncertainty
Hrdý, Libor ; Martinek, David (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
In this thesis is described implementation of the logical deskgame Backgammon, which is a game for two players, whereas one is substituted by computer. This thesis is focused on the problems of the programming the graphical user interface with help of toolkit WxWidgets and also the implemetnation of the game core (game controls and AI of the computer) by using ExpectMiniMax algorithm, that is used for the implementation of the games with the strong influence of random, games where random plays a big role, in this particular case throwing the cube.
Reversi
Labaj, Tomáš ; Jurka, Pavel (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis present the problematic of an Artificial Intelligence and its usage for the board game Reversi is described. The best solution for this type of application is "minimax" method. To avoid redundant seeking through status field it is better to use some kind of limitations, e. c. Alpha-Beta method. Both methods are also described in this thesis. Second part is focused on self- learning computer algorithms (the ways how computer can improve his turn after unsuccessful one).
Measurement and Monitoring of Non-Electrical Quantities Using Bluetooth Low Energy
Prítel, Peter ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this report is Bluetooth Low Energy and communication with sensors of non- electrical quantities . The first part describes general overview of Bluetooth technology . In the implementation part, development of application based on Cordova framework is described . The application demonstrates communication with sensors using Bluetooth Low Energy .
Mobile Tower Defense Game
Václavík, Filip ; Vlnas, Michal (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and implement a mobile game in game engine Unity. This thesis describes game development on mobile devices and the development of mobile game in Unity engine. The basis of this mobile game is formed in the Unity game engine as well as animations of characters whose graphics were created using Gimp software. The game contains a full-fledged single player campaign with several level variants, containing various tower and enemy mechanics. The game also offers a simplified editor for creating your own maps for possible sharing with other players. The game is set in a fictional medieval world and is enriched with mechanics that are not typical for tower defense games, such as playing as the other side.
Artificial Intelligence for Game Playing
Neřád, Václav ; Kouřil, Jan (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis analyzes artificial intelligence and method, which are used in artificial intelligence for problem solving and game playing especially. Chosen methods are used for bot implementation in game Ants in contest AI challenge.
Native Application for Mobile Devices
Beníčková, Zuzana ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the universal mobile client-server application of Android and iOS devices solved in the native environment of the given operating systems. The work explores approaches to solving the problem in both environments. The application solution will display, store and process a variety of data sent to the server in a unified form as well as customize the look given the conditions addressed conditions and equipment. The aim of the thesis is to show and compare the native potential of the mobile device as well as to design a unified application of frequently asked issues - to view and access a large amount of stored data to the user.
