Research on material didactic tools used in teaching chemistry at lower-secondary schools in Czechia

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the use of material didactic tools in teaching chemistry at lower-secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The research primarily concentrated on instructional tools and didactic technology due to their closer relation to the content, methods, and forms of teaching. Special emphasis was placed on the use of textbooks and their structural components. The goal of the bachelor's thesis was to identify which material didactic tools are present in the lessons, as well as their duration and mode of use in teaching. Specifically regarding textbooks, the thesis aimed to map out which structural components of textbooks are utilized in chemistry lessons and with which topics. Therefore, in the theoretical part, the thesis addresses the characteristics of these selected tools, followed by an examination of their significance in teaching. The research method employed was systematic observation of chemistry lessons in lower-secondary schools across the Czech Republic. The analysis of the collected data revealed that blackboards, worksheets, printed materials, and various ICT tools were most frequently used in chemistry lessons. Preparing teachers to work with gifted students

The diploma thesis focuses on the preparation of teachers for work with gifted pupils at primary schools of mainstream education. The aim of the thesis is to describe possible educational practices and to analyze the methods of work that teachers can apply in the process of educating gifted pupils at a regular primary school. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concept of giftedness, its models and classification. Furthermore, the theoretical part focuses on the identification of gifted individuals, especially teachers, on basic approaches in the education of gifted pupils and also focuses on the education of teachers for working with gifted pupils. The research part of the thesis describes the research itself, which is solved by a mixed design of quantitative and qualitative approach. The quantitative research was carried out through a questionnaire survey and we used semi-structured interviews to collect data as part of the qualitative research. 81 respondents took part in the questionnaire survey and four respondents were subsequently contacted for semi-structured interviews. This bachelor thesis focuses on the use of material teaching aids in the field of Mechanical Electrical Engineer - Information Technology. The aim of the thesis is to provide an overview of the available didactic teaching aids and material re-sources for teaching in vocational training and to describe the possibilities of fi-nancing teaching resources for schools. The thesis consists of four chapters, which focus on introduction to the field, didactic teaching aids, material resources and financing. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of the results of the teaching framework in the field of Mechanical Electrical Engineer - Information Technology.

This bachelor's thesis is devoted to the topic of material didactic tools in the teaching of vocational training at the Polytechnic Secondary School in the field of carpentry. The theoretical part focuses on the essence, description and distribution of teaching aids in the implementation of teaching. It presents the didactic technique that the OV teacher has at his disposal and how the choice of an appropriate means will make the transmission of didactic information more effective. It secondarily helps create a positive relationship with the field of education, moves into the realm of intellectual and material heritage, and thus contributes to the development of humanity and future generations. The empirical part of the bachelor thesis contains research to determine the use of material teaching aids by pedagogues and their satisfaction with the current level of these aids. The second part of the research aims to compare the level of material teaching aids in education from the point of view of vocational training teachers compared to companies in the private sector. How familiar the students of this field are with the use and with which resources they can work according to the profile of the graduate.

The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to design worksheets for the field of flower seller – florist, which should serve as a teaching aid for teaching the subject of vocational training and the subject of floristry. The theoretical part is focused on using various written sources during the teaching process. It explains the meaning and characteristics of the field of floristry and the basic division of teaching aids. In the practical part, I dealt with designing teaching aids (worksheets), their creation, use and contribution to professional training and recommendations for pedagogical practice, which will serve not only to pupils, but also teachers. In the application part, the aim was to carry out qualitative pedagogical research (structured interview) based on the use of worksheets in practice with three respondents from the subjects of floristry and professional training. The result was an analysis and comparison of the interviews based on the questions for the teachers.

The bachelor‘s thesis deals with the issue of didactic means in the teaching of bookbinder. The theoretical part is based on the study of professional publications. In the introduction it describes the school and its organization of vocational training. Then the didactic means and division. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is focused on the use of material resources in teaching, as well as the use of worksheets in vocational training.

The bachelor‘s thesis on the topic of the school diary as an aid in studying at a secondary vocational school is devoted to the creation of a teaching aid for secondary school pupils. It should make it as effective as possible for the organization of the school year and motivate students to plan and manage their own time management. The theoretical part characterizes the basic concepts, didactic resources, teaching aids, didactic principles, student motivation and time management. The theoretical part is processed on the basis of the study of professional literary sources, their analysis and synthesis of the obtained information and subsequent comparison. In the practical part, the aim is to create a student diary, which will, with its personalized modules, support the correct planning of the school year for high school students as much as possible. The implementation of the diary will be preceded by a survey of the competition market and a questionnaire solution regarding the content of the diary sent to high school students.
Teacher-made Materials for English Language Teaching

The aim of this thesis is to determine which teaching materials teachers in lower primary school use for teaching English and especially whether they prepare their own materials and what those materials are. Another aim is to create a set of teaching materials that can be used with pupils in English language lessons. The theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to the characteristics of teaching materials for teaching English at the lower primary level, especially course books and other additional materials. It also looks into domestic and foreign web pages supporting teachers in creating their own teaching materials. The practical part of the thesis is divided into two parts. The first part consists of structured interviews with five primary school English teachers. It surveys which teaching materials they use in their foreign language teaching, which materials they create, what is the main reason for making these materials and in which way they use them during their lessons. The second part consists of a set of teaching materials I created for teaching English at the lower primary level.
