Application of mathematical methods for object detection in ultrasound B-image
Ruttner, Michal ; Jiřík, Radovan (referee) ; Sedlář, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with the detection of objects in ultrasound B-image. First we will become familiar with the ultrasound device and its functions. We will demonstrate various kinds of imaging techniques used in ultrasound diagnostic imaging. Further we will be concerned with medical image processing. We will describe the functions of some edge detectors based on the first derivation, detectors based on the second derivation, detectors based on approximation of parametric model and detectors of borders or lines. Otherwise we will find out how to do preprocessing, Some of these methods we will try on different images for sharpening of image and enhacment of contoure. Using the program created in MATLAB©, we will use process imaging on internal carotid images. In conclusion we will evaluate the results.
Mikrobiologické parametry výroby, skladování a distribuce raw potravin
Vávra, Jaroslav
Bachelor thesis Microbiological parameters of production, storage and distribution of raw food includes theoretical and practical part. Literary research is a compilation of public and expert attitudes to raw foods, legislative regulations for used raw materials and food for immediate consumption, basics of production technology, knowledge of microbes, their metabolism products and possible health risks associated with them. The experiment was a basic microbiological analysis of raw bar samples to determine the total number of microorganisms, fungi and yeasts, coliforms, and the presence of Eschericia coli. The gained results of the experiment were subsequently compared with legislative regulations, especially with the norm ČSN 56 9609. The last part of the experiment was a short rough sensory evaluation. Although many microorganisms have been found in the products, there hasn‘t been over limit.

Reproduction of \kur{Achillea millefolium} agg. and \kur{Achillea ptarmica} in meadows and verges
TOMŠOVÁ, Pavla
Several changes in land use during the last 50 years of 20th century had a significant impact on the composition of traditional meadows. The abundance of many plant species typical for traditionally managed meadows has declined. But some of these species have found a refuge in habitats such as field margins and road verges. The aim of this study was to describe how the reproduction success of two related Achillea species A. millefolium agg. and A. ptarmica depends on (i) the particular habitat in which they grow (meadow/verge); (ii) the abundance of pollinators in the study site; and (iii) timing of flowering within the season. Moreover, the longevity of individual flowers of the two taxa has been studied in order assess the width of the time frame the reproduction takes place in. These objectives were achieved by means of measuring plant total seed production and germination as proxies of reproductive success both in meadow and verge populations at the beginning, peak and end of the flowering season of the two species in 2012. The plants were chosen at plots, where concurrently a pollinator survey has been conducted as the part of the broader project. The durations of the male and female phases of individual flowers have been studied in separate experiments.
