Genetic Algorithms Based Game in Unity
Bábek, Radomír ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Vlnas, Michal (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the areas of game development and genetic algorithms. It describes the design and implementation of the game PlantEVO, which features special fighting plants. The player's task is to understand the workings of the genetic algorithm and to use it as efficiently as possible in breeding his plants. After then the strength of his plants is tested in online battles against other players. The battles are designed in a turn-based strategy combat style. The game uses a client-server architecture. The client is programmed in the Unity game engine, the server uses the REST API architecture.
Multiagent Support for Strategic Games
Válek, Lukáš ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This thesis is focused on design of framework for creation an articial opponents in strategy games. We will analyze different types of strategy games and artificial intelligence systems used in these types of games. Next we will describe problems, which can occur  in these systems and why agent-based systems makes better artificial opponents. Next we will use knowledge from this research to design and implement framework, which will act as support for creating an artificial intelligence in strategy games.
Simulatenous move turn-based game for mobile devices
Staruch, Michal ; Gemrot, Jakub (advisor) ; Yaghob, Jakub (referee)
This thesis deals with a conception and implementation of a simultaneous move turn-based game for devices running Android. The thesis contains an analysis of the most played games on Android, limitations of mobile devices and required libraries. The work further focuses on the principle of operation of a server prototype and a stress test of an implementation of the described prototype. Based on the test results, the thesis describes an implementation of multithreaded processing and an further analysis of this implementation. The work also portrays the techniques used for network communication. The result of this work is a game server written in Java and a mobile application for Android, which is used by the users to play the created game. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
