Agricultural in terms of Sustainable Development of Agrarian Sector
Frýdlová, Monika ; Boháčková, Ivana (advisor) ; Smutka, Luboš (referee)
The sustainability discourse clearly gives priority to the so-called "three-pillar model", according to which sustainable development should equally try to reach ecological, economic, and social goals. An increasing variety of methods is being proposed to address the question of the measurement of sustainable development. The concept of sustainable development can be interpreted in many different ways, but at its core is an approach to development that looks to balance different, and often competing, needs against an awareness of the environmental, social and economic limitations we face as asociety. Submitting theses deal with measuring sustainable agriculture and introduces a practical methodology for evaluating the sustainability of agriculture system by means of composite indicators. This methodology was based on calculating seven sustainability indicators that cover the three components of the sustainability concept (economic, social and environmental). The methodological proposal implemented in theses allowed an integrated vision of agricultural sustainability and careful selection of sustainability indicators, carried out on the basis of reliability criteria and applicability. The evaluation of agricultural sustainability/production system sustainability using the methods suggested is a potentially useful tool for public decision-makers who are tasked with designing and implementing agricultural policy. The results demonstrated the usefulness of analyzing several sustainability indicators in conjunction, in order to obtain more robust results. Such information can help to improve current agricultural policies, such as income policy, agricultural structure policy and rural development policy, with the aim of improving the sustainability of the agricultural sector.

Shilova, Regina
The bachelor thesis deals with a characteristic of permaculture and its basic principles. The aim was to determine whether permaculture meets the criteria of sustainable development and is suitable for use in soil and climatic conditions of the Czech Republic. For comparison, the thesis is also referred to brief characteristics of conventional and organic farming and subsequently these farming methods are compared with permaculture. The functionality of the permaculture principles was in practice studied on the example of natural garden in Ořešín. The results are documented by photographs with comments. Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of permaculture were determined by using the SWOT-analysis.

For erosion indicator was found violating the GAEC standards I and II. For the eco-farmed land balance N -3,2 kg.ha-1 (P) -5,7 kg.ha-1, (K) -38,63 kg.ha-1, the annual supply of organic matter into the soil is 3,5 t.ha-1, the specific energy consumption of 127 MJ.OJ-1, the intensity of plant protection 0% of the average of the CZECH REPUBLIC and evaluation of biodiversity 0,78. Erosion threat of landscape in the context of sustainable agricultural system
SIMANDLOVÁ, Veronika
Currently there is about 54% of agricultural land at risk of water erosion. A prerequisite for sustainable agricultural development is the implementation of soil protection. Erosion control measures represent a set of measures that, in addition the priority function of reducing the losses of the soil, significantly affect the water conditions in the countryside. The topic of my thesis is the erosion threat of landscape in the context of sustainable agricultural system. The first part focuses on the literature search related to sustainable agriculture, soil erosion problems and possibilities of protection ALR (Agricultural Land Resources). The practical part is concerned with a particular territory in which comprehensive landscaping erosion control measures have been taken. The aim was to assess the condition of the above mentioned area before and after the implementation of measures. Furthermore, individual parameters were evaluated, as well as the types and localization of erosion control features in the area of interest, comparing them with the project documentation and a plan of joint facilities.
