Respiratory rate measurement
Maršálková, Leona ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with possible ways of measuring respiratory rate. It focuses on the description of the structure of device used to measure respiratory rate, including sensors, which are used for this purpose. In conclusion of theoretical part is mentioned the possibility of using respiratory rate measurement in medicine. This thesis also contains a description of respiratory rate sensor design using a thermistor sensor and implementation of virtual meter respiratory rate in LabView. The last part of this thesis deals with the evaluation results and practical application of this sensor.
Regulated Syntax-Directed Translation
Dvořák, Tomáš ; Kocman, Radim (referee) ; Meduna, Alexandr (advisor)
This thesis deals with formal and syntax directed translation. This thesis contains theoretical part, which defines regular, context free, context sensitive and recursively enumerable languages a grammar. There are given examples of grammars which are able to generate languages that are not context free. Covered by this thesis are matrix grammars, random context grammars and programed grammars. Researched are also finite, pushdown, deep and regular automata, transducers and their part within format syntax directed translation. This project also defines regular transducers based as regulated automata. Thesis defines regulated methods of syntax analysis based on predictive parsers. These methods cover analysis of studied regulated grammars. The final part of this thesis describes new language capable of effective description of these grammars and compiler producing parser code for these grammars written in this new language and their graphical analyzer.
Measuring of Velocity Profiles in Liquids by Using of UVP
Kárník, Jan ; Stejskal, Jiří (referee) ; Štigler, Jaroslav (advisor)
The following bachelor's thesis deals with one possible way of determination velocity profiles in liquids. Content of the thesis is focused mainly on the method of the UVP (Ultrasound Velocity Profile), on the ways and principles of measuring, on its pluses and cons and it´s comparison with the other conventional methods, like for the example the PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) and LDA (Laser Doppler Anemometry). There is also the possible placement of the transducers to the measuring system discussed. Furthermore the thesis deals with trouble in the test measurement. At the beginning this work deals with familiarization with principle and function of the measuring device and with the device for the method UVP itself. Apart from the UVP measuring method the thesis also deals with short description of the competitive methods – PIV, LDA, which are used to measure the velocity profiles nowadays. Particular attention is given to the PIV method, which significance is currently growing. In conclusion, there is comparison of different methods with the UVP method made and there are the future steps to realize the successful measurement with UVP method also discussed.
Non-filtering applications with current and voltage conveyors
Horáček, Lukáš ; Herencsár, Norbert (referee) ; Mišurec, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is focused on using non-filtering applications with voltage and electric current conveyors. Conveyors may be used both for filtering and for non-filtering applications. They are basic elements of many modern electric circuits and operational amplifiers. First of all, I had described what the conveyor in general is, its historical development, which types of them we can meet with and its availability in integrated circuits. Then I focused on circuits which are subject of this thesis. Namely they are: functional transducer, rectifier and integrator. These circuits were analyzed and simulated by computer software. After this I designed their realization and performed experimental measurement.
Experimental Electro-Mechanical Musical Drum Instrument
Šípek, Petr ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Dlouhý, Dan (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and create an experimental mechanic-electrical drum instrument, namely a hybrid percussion instrument, using various resonant materials and oscillators supplemented by mechanical tuning in the main part of the instrument. Part of the instrument will consist of a series of piezoelectric transducers scanning individual segments of the musical instrument. It will be possible to edit each individual created sound by using effects.
Connecting Embedded Systems to Intranet
Damborský, Roman ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Švéda, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis studies possibilities of connecting embedded systems to intranet. Available technologies and resources usable for control and capturing of data on remote sensors are considered. It goes into IEEE 1451.1 standard, which defines abstract interface of transducer for sensors connecting, while avoiding specification of concrete implementation of communication between these entities. Design and implementation of application with architecture based on IEEE 1451.1 standard takes also place in this thesis.
Evolutionary Design of Ultrasound Treatment Plans
