The diploma thesis deals with psychosis. Portraits of people who suffered from some type of psychosis, and which in most cases is caused by long-term drug abuse or drinking of alcohol. This is depicted with figurative painting in such a way that the painting that its style and the color spectrum corrensponds to the profile of a person with this form of mental illness and mental changes in the brain at different stages of of the disease. The output will be a series of paintings of a united size of formats that will be based , thematically a basis of dialogues with people who currently suffer or have suffered from some psychosis. The authenticity of the experiences of these people with toxic psychosis is very sensitive material, therefor it is proccessed, in this series, in such a way that can it bring closer to the viewers to posibally unimaginable situations and ways of perception of reality.

Methamphetamine toxic psychosis from the perspective of a client

The Bachelor's thesis deals with methamphetamine induced psychosis. The theoretical part describes not only the effects of methamphetamine on the mental state of clients, but also defines the concept of methamphetamine induced psychosis. It divides psychoses into endogenous and substance-induced psychosis. It emphasizes the positive and negative symptoms of this disease and interprets a number of studies dealing with neurobiology of toxic psychosis and genetic predisposition. The aim of this work is to describe toxic psychosis among long-term methamphetamine users as they perceive whether the relationship between intensity, regularity of use, and method of application of methamphetamine with toxic psychosis can be established. Whether the client is aware of the course of toxic psychosis and whether the psychotic episode affects the client's intensity of use, or overall abstinence from drugs. The survey was conducted on a sample of 6 users - 3 abstainers and 3 active users. Psychiatric comorbidity of methamphetamine users

The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe cooperation with clients / users of methamphetamine with a severe psychiatric disorder from the schizophrenic spectrum using case management methods. The theoretical part summarizes current knowledge of the negative consequences of using methamphetamine, focussing on serious psychiatric comorbidity from the schizophrenic spectrum. It includes research of current studies (both Czech and foreign), information on specific comorbid diagnoses and a description of the case management method, including its specific application within the SANANIM addictology ambulance. The practical part contains three case studies structured into six sections: (1) Initiation of the program entry, (2) The first contact and setting, (3) Entrance evaluation and indication, (4) Establishing a relationship and developing cooperation, (5) Cooperation with other experts and stakeholders (6) The results of cooperation focussed on changes in relation to: comorbid illness, severity and frequency of use of a primary drug and other addictive substances, social situation and relational healing.
