Static analysis of the roof structure
Dolníčková, Andrea ; Zídek, Rostislav (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The thesis is focused on a static analysis of a roof truss with a steel purlin. It is a pitched roof of an L shaped groundplan. Computational model of the structure is carried out in the RFEM 5.07 software tool, which performes calculations using the Finite Element Method. There are 14 load cases applied on the model of the structure. The variable loads were determined according to ČSN EN 1991-1. The individual load-bearing elements are assessed for an ultimate as well as for a serviceability limit state. The assessments are processed by a hand calculation and verified by an assessment of the structure performed in the additional software modules RF-TIMBER Pro and RF-STEEL EC3. In the last part of the thesis there are some specific joints of the elements defined.
The Three Aisled Storage Building
Back, Tomáš ; Bajer, Miroslav (referee) ; Buchta, Stanislav (advisor)
Content diploma work, work is proposal and static review elements trojlodniho in-store object. Further is elaboration contract documents crimping with from technical news, layout drawing, production drawing and piece list materials.
Steel Structure of the Office Building
Ruček, Martin ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Hron, Lukáš (advisor)
Main concern of the thesis is a structural design of main load bearing elements of steel, four-storey high administration building. Designed building has 36 m long and 24 m wide rectangular footprint. Roof is shaped into a hyperbolic paraboloid surface. Main load bearing structure is consisting of six main cross sections formed by truss columns, and generally curved roof truss beams, accompanied by storey supporting frames with composite slabs. Overall shape of the roof is defined by warped surface. Cladding of the building is consisting of aluminium facade system.
Static analysis of the roof
Hořínek, Josef ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Martinásek, Josef (advisor)
The Bachelor Thesis focuses on a static analysis of a timber roof truss. This roof trust is part of the saddle roof on the family home. The load on the structure is calculated manually according to valid standards. The load is divided into a total of 11 load cases. The calculation model of the structure is created in RFEM. Results of internal forces and deformations are checked by manual calculation using methods for statically indeterminate structures. These values are compared at the end.
Structure Design of Exhibition Pavilion
Ruček, Martin ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Hron, Lukáš (advisor)
Concern of my thesis is to design the main load carrying structure of an exhibiton pavilion. The pavilion itself has circle shaped footprint, 55 m in diameter. Height of the building is then 15 m. The main structure consists of planar truss elements with generally curved upper and lower chords. The web of main truss element is designed as a perforated steel wall. Structural analysis and dimension design of main truss element is realised via axis model with rigid nodes, and verified on an accurate numerical model of a truss with web modelled as a perforated steel wall. Building is designed to be situated at exhibition area of Olomouc city. Design involves all the critical cross sections, and also selected mounting joints.
Static provision of castle
Kulla, Lukáš ; Bažant, Zdeněk (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this final thesis was static protection for castle in Miroslavské Knínice. It was necessary to explore several respects and find signs of violation. Next analyze and propose suitable assurance of individual parts. Separe into the stages of construction and to consider the proposal in terms of ensuring the resistance of materials. Finally create a detailed documentation in the range suitable for performance. Based on engineering geology and visual survey was designed horizontal bracing prestressing cables at three levels. The first level "A" consists of a closed circuit of prestressed reinforced concrete passports, supplemented by the cross and construction of prestressed reinforced concrete passports. Next level "B,C" is used to secure the top of the building. Levels “B,C” are proposed using prestressed cable in spare cable channels.
