Instrument for temperature measurement in electric machines
Klein, Tomáš ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This thesis deals with ways on how to measure temperature in electric machines. It divided into three main parts: summary of methods of temperature fields measuring, application of chosen measuring method, application on particular electric machine, and design of a device for remote temperature measuring using bluetooth.
Laboratory execises using ADAM industrial sensor system
Bocek, Jan ; Mišurec, Jiří (referee) ; Rampl, Ivan (advisor)
Main task of the Bachelor Thesis is to familiarize with industry sensor systems that are realized on measuring panel. It is necessary to understand its communication and suggest 2 laboratory exercises. Realized industrial sensor system is assembled of 6 ADAM 4000 modules, which are made by Advantech company. It is decentralized measuring system, comunicating by interface RS-485 and with PC by bus RS-232. The first designed exercise is „Determination of position and mass weight“ and second exercise is measurement on „Thermal quantity sensor“. It was measured in developing environment ADAMview which is designated for modules ADAM. The reason for usage of sensor system is to reduce the time of measurement, make it more confortable, more accurate, simplify elaborating results and makes it possible for considerable automatization of measurement.
Measurement of meteorological variables
Škorpík, Daniel ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis discusses about the basic meteorological variables, especially temperature and airflow. These magnitudes are measured using an anemometer which uses resistive sensors, namely, two thermistors of NTC type that described technology, operations, methods of scanning, sensor placement and implementation of such a device. After that was designed block diagram and circuit diagram. The meter is realized, than we describe the individual components and then is calibrated and tested. In conclusion, it is evaluated for use in medicine.
Temperature measurement in electric machines
Halfar, Ivo ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis Temperature measurement in electric machines deals with beginning and exuding of the heat of electric motors and measuring of the temperature. The temperature is one of the most important values in diagnostic. High temperature could damage an isolation and it could tend to destroy of the whole machine. The temperature influences their magnetic properties on motors with permanent magnets. If you reach the Curie temperature it could come to its demagnetisation. Measuring of the temperature is important to verify allowable warming of motor or more precisely its spooling. The measuring of the temperature is needed for making motors with minimum of charges and its worth at the end. We could use two methods for measuring the temperature. It is contact and noncontact method. Warming and decomposition of the temperatures it is possible to appoint also with help of theoretic computations which are getting of the method of final elements. A lot of computer programs is using this method. Because of the existence of many sorts of electric motors, one of the viewpoints is the principle of working, another one is the construction. I concentrate on problems of asynchronous motors. In this bachelors thesis I have done theoretical calculation and contact and noncontact method of measuring of warming of the asynchronous motor.
Construction and evaluation of in vitro set of holes for chondrogenic differentiation of MSC cells
Kříž, Marek ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis concentrates on the cultivation of mesenchymal cells in vitro, damage to the articular cartilage and its replacement with the chondrogenic cells. The next section is devoted to each type of temperature control for heating and maintaining the temperature inside a closed system, the type of detector temperature and heating using the Peltier element. Assembly heater box, measuring the temperature profile inside the box with Labview program, control with Arduino platform, survival and differentiation of cells.
Programmable Thermoregulator Design
Kollár, Tomáš ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Hermany, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the study was to design, build and experimentally verify a programmable thermostat. The main control unit of the thermostat is an ATmega168 microcontroller which communicates via I2C bus with remote MAX6615 chips. They are used to measure temperature with a set of thermistors and control the flow of the hot water in the heating system. This work deals with issues of remote control through the I2C bus, servomotor steering, precision temperature measurement and describes the inner workings of the system. The next chapter includes a proposal for possible extension of the system. The last part contains the manual of the control menu structure and a brief description of the software.
Electronic thermometer
Kostka, Vladislav ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This semestral project contains of different processes of temperature measuring procedure. Analyze every single method and sensor and points out advantages and disadvantages of each of it. Describes connection of electrical thermometer and regulation of heat controled by microprocessor ATMEL.
Laboratory exercises making use of the industrial sensor system ADAM
Mixa, Jan ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Rampl, Ivan (advisor)
The main Objective of the Bachelor Thesis is to familiarize with industry sensor system. The whole system is based on Modules ADAM 4000, RS 485 Bus, a Personal Computer with RS 232 Bus. It is important to understand how the system works and what method of communication is between system components. For this Purpose are designed two laboratory tasks. The first task is „Thermal quantity sensor“, for this task is used a development environment designed directly for ADAM modules – ADAMview. The second task is called „ADAM ASCII protocol“. Sensor System with ADAM modules provides simplicity, comfort and precision of measurements.
Temperature measurement of an asynchronous motor
Bartoň, Petr ; Deeb, Ramia (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
In this thesis there are described methods which are used in order to measure a temperature in electric machines. Whereas there is an influence of magnetic field and mechanical effects in the electric machines it is possible to use only limited number of methods for measuring temperature. These methods can be divided into two basic groups. The first group is being called "contact measurement" and while the second one is "non-contact measurement". Contact measurements are performed by usage of resistant sensors or thermocouples. On the other hand, non-contact measurements are performed by pyrometers and thermal imager cameras. Theoretical values of warming are determined by the FEMM which operates on the basis of the finite element method. In the practical part there are compared several methods whereby asynchronous engine was measured at various loads. Measured values are compared with theoretical values.
