Work of the coordinator of school education programme

The thesis offers a comprehensive look at the work of the Coordinator of the school educational programme, his professional and personal prerequisites for the performance of specialized function. In the theoretical part of the work is defined the role of the Coordinator, described the content of his activity and characterized his managerial skills needed to management of creating of the school educational programmes. One part of the work is a description of the activities of the Coordinator in the preparation, formation and implementation of the school educational programme. The empirical part of the thesis includes an analysis of the educational programme entitled: The Coordinator of the school educational programme. By means of interviews with the coordinators of school educational programmes, they were inquired about their experience with the authors of educational programmes and the utilization of knowledge from a preparatory course in real activity. Questionnaire survey was the basis for finding out opinions of the educational programmes creators themselves on the activity of the coordinators. Games for Vocabulary Revision at A2 level (according to CEFR)

The diploma thesis Games for Vocabulary Revision at A2 level (according to CEFR) is focused on the possible ways how to use games for vocabulary revision in English language teaching at lower secondary schools. In the theoretical part there is mainly described the theoretical view on games and their importance for language teaching. There is a description of different kinds of games and their basic typology in general, the language game and its typology and also the theory of vocabulary revision. There are also described the several types of books written by different authors that can be used for vocabulary revision. The practical part is focused on the basic description of documents such as the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (level A2), the Framework Educational Programme and the School Educational Programme, that were used in my project at lower secondary school. In the next part, there is a detailed description of the collection of games that were used in the lessons of English. These games were focused on vocabulary revision according to the particular coursebook in the particular class. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to discover if it is possible to include games to language teaching and if the game can motivate the pupils for their active participation in the classroom.
The Development and Implementation of The Framework Educational Programme for Elementary Schools

This thesis deals with the implementation of the Framework Educational Programme of Basic Education (RVP ZV) in the Czech Republic. It is a brand new educational system which brings in many aspects of modern education and also many essential changes in comparison with the previous educational systems. In the first part of this thesis is described the basic philosophy and the main reasons why such a system has been presented. Then I want to concentrate on the implementation of the Framework Educational Programme of Basic Education to the elementary schools and the creation of the School Educational Programme (ŠVP). The differences in teaching methods of foreign languages are also mentioned. In the last part a questionnaire was used to find out the opinions on the new educational system. The results of this research indicate whether the teachers are in favour of it or not.
