The Evaluation Component of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language
Svoboda, Lidia ; Getmanenko, Natalia Ivanovna (advisor) ; Rozboudová, Lenka (referee)
The modern educational triad "education-learning-evaluation" assigns a significant role to the evaluation component. This master's thesis examines the problem of measuring knowledge, skills and abilities in teaching Russian as a foreign language (RFL). The aim of this work is to study the structure and content of existing test methods in the context of the general educational triad and to develop the new test assignments for a summative assessment. The main objective of this study is to determine effectiveness of the existing systems of knowledge control when teaching Russian as a foreign language in a Czech audience. In this paper, we will analyze the existing test methods and explore the modern linguodidactic measurements and assessments of the quality of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The relevance of this work lies in the need to develop a better control of students ' knowledge in order to achieve their language competence. The practical part of this master's paper will offer the summative test assigments for the electronic textbook "Cultural History of Russia" (Getmanenko, Rozboudová, Vasilieva, 2020).
Knowledge of primary students about ecology of selected ecosystems
HOŠTIČKOVÁ, Zuzana
This diploma thesis deals with the conceptual knowledge of primary school pupils about field ecosystems. In the analyzed textbooks, ecological relations are represented only to a limited extent. They are not sufficiently explained or practiced during lessons. Test questions focus on a complex understanding of field ecosystem matters; they test the extent of understanding of relationships between organisms and their environment, between different organisms, and the extent to which field ecosystems are affected by human activity. Analysis results reflect the level of the pupils' knowledge regarding field ecosystem interrelations. Test questions designed by the author of the thesis examine fourth grade primary school pupils and their understanding of relationships between organisms and their environment, as well as relationships between different organisms. Results show that pupils understand relationships between organisms and their environment better than relationships between different organisms and the effects of human activity on field ecosystems. These differences are, however, not significant. In general, the research shows that fourth grade pupils do not understand field ecosystem relationships in an entirely correct way.
Knowledge of primary pupils about ecology of forest
TOMÁŠTÍKOVÁ, Petra
This diploma thesis deals with conceptual knowledge of elementary school students about the forest ecosystem. Ecological relationships are represented in the textbooks analyzed, but they are not sufficiently explained and practically practiced. Tasks are aimed at determining the level of understanding of the relationship between organisms and between organisms and the environment. The level of pupils' knowledge of the context is reflected in the test tasks, the design and implementation of which was carried out by the author. After the test, a set of activities is used to correct the deficiencies. Totally moderate shifts towards improvement are achieved, but these differences do not account for the unambiguous success of applied activities. The research shows that pupils of the 5th grade of the primary school do not quite understand the relationships in the forest ecosystem.
Organometallic Compounds in Chemistry Education
Houser, František ; Klímová, Helena (advisor) ; Svoboda, Lubomír (referee) ; Kolář, Karel (referee)
The thesis is devoted to organometallic chemistry teaching problematics at Czech secondary schools. In this thesis it is analyzed what space in the schooling is given this theme by educational programs. Furthermore, the thesis are in terms of the theme of organometallic compounds analyzed secondary school textbooks commonly used chemical education, and there is estimated interest of teachers for the newly prepared materials on this topic as well. As a reaction to the conclusions of the analyzes was prepared explanatory text on the topic of organometallic compounds intended for teachers who can use it for their own learning and to prepare their lessons as well. The second main output of this work is a set of test tasks relating to the created explanatory text of organometallic compounds. These questions are not only intended for testing mastering the topic of organometallic compounds by pupils, but also serves as an mastery-level proposal of the topic that students especially in grammar schools and secondary vocational schools should achieve. Explanatory text and a set of test tasks were verified by teachers teaching chemistry through direct interview method and then there were incorporated comments emerged in the interviews into them.
