Methods: This bachelor thesis consists of theoretical and special part. The theoretical part deals with a literature search to understand the structure and function of the knee joint from the perspective of anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics. The thesis also describes the problem of osteoarthritis and its therapeutic interventions, types of total knee arthroplasty and the surgical procedure for its implantation. The theoretical part in its conclusion focuses on the possibilities of solving the subsequent rehabilitation after knee joint TEP implantation. The special section includes the initial and outcome kinesiological examination, goals of therapeutic care and a thorough record of therapeutic units. Data for the development of the special section were collected in the Rehabilitační klinika Malvazinky....
Case Study of Physiotherapeutic Treatment of a Patient with Diagnosis of total hip replacement
Svatošová, Eliška ; Kočí, Gabriela (advisor) ; Baxová, Dana (referee)
Author: Eliška Svatošová Head of the thesis: Mgr. Gabriela Kočí Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with diagnosis of total hip replacement Objectives: The aim of this work is to process theoretical knowledge regarding osteoarthritis of the hip joint, total hip arthroplasty (THA), postoperative rehabilitation, and documenting the course of care for patient diagnosed with coxarthrosis. Methods: The thesis includes a case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient after total hip arthroplasty, which was conducted during continuous practice at the Malvazinky Rehabilitation Clinic (RKM) from January 15, 2024, to February 9, 2024. In total, 8 therapeutic sessions were conducted with the patient, including initial and final kinesiological assessments and subsequent therapy. The general part of this thesis contains theoretical knowledge related to coxarthrosis, its prevention, diagnosis, and physiotherapy Results: Throughout the therapies, there was an improvement in the patient's physical condition. The muscle strength of the left hip joint in abduction and extension increased, and there was an increase in the range of motion in the hip joint in abduction, flexion, and extension by an average of 5ř. The condition of soft tissues improved, and we also succeeded in improving...
Heart rate meter
Šeda, Jan ; Rampl, Ivan (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
The aim of the Bachelor thesis is summary of pulse measurement facilities. Heart pulse has been one of the basic measurable quantity in medical science for thousands of years. The basic quality of the given value is accuracy. The analyse of necessity of accuracy in methods for medical practice and diagnostic is the second point of the thesis. The third and most crucial point is heart pulse meter itself – it will be described in terms of mechanics, electrics and software. System based on optical measurement has been chosen in semestral project. Furthermore, accuracy of designed meter will be tested.
Heart rate measurement
Jiřík, Ondřej ; Rampl, Ivan (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
This work deals with the measurement of heart rate parameters. One of the objectives of this work is a summary of methods for measuring heart rate, from which data can be derived heart rate and subsequently evaluated. Also deals with the accuracy of this parameter. It describes the basic characteristics of sensors and applicable in terms of sensitivity to movement. In the work is drawn design of a simple heart rate monitor with a range of 40-200 beats per minute. For the whole device is carried out by the proposal of the printed circuit board in EAGLE program.
Electrolytes containing a phosphorus-based flame retardant
Pelikán, Ondřej ; Libich, Jiří (referee) ; Máca, Josef (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the theoretical knowledge of lithium accumulators. More attention is given to electrolytes and especially to flame retardants, where the types and individual examples of flame retardants are described more detailed. The practical part is focused on the individual laboratory measurement of selected samples of electrolytes with different flame retardants. The measurement results are analyzed in other parts.
Gel polymer electrolytes with fire retardands
Veselkova, Iuliia ; Jahn, Michal (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This graduate work deals with the study and preparation of gel polymer electrolytes with flame retardants for lithium-ion batteries. The theoretical part describes the types of electrolytes, their features, benefits, how they differ and where they are used in detail. The basis of this section is gel electrolytes with flame retardants, to measure their electrical and electrochemical properties. The experimental part deals with the preparation of samples of gel electrolytes with different percentages of flame retardant, where varied species of flame retardants and measuring their electrical conductivity and potential windows. Impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry and dynamic-analytical thermal analysis were selected as measuring methods.
Reliability analysis of the hip joint endoprosthesis ceramic head
Málek, Michal ; Janíček, Přemysl (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with probability of fracture ceramic head of total hip endoprosthesis during tests by the standard ISO 7206-5. In the first part is made stress analysis with method of finite elements in program ANSYS. Six types of ceramic head with different geometry was analysed for ideal geometry of head and shaft, and also for shape imperfections from nominal conical shaft and head. The final values of principal stress from stress analysis were entry values for the second part – probability of fracture analysis. Weibull weakest-link theory was applied, namely 3-Parameter and 2-Parameter Weibull distribution.
Case study of patient with diadnosis of total hip replacement
Kumpoštová, Dana ; Malá, Jitka (advisor) ; Jarošová, Hana (referee)
TOTAL HIPARHTROPLASY This bachelor's work represents implantation of total hip arthroplasty and immediate physiotherapy. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first (theoretical) part gets acquainted with hip joint, perspective of anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics. The second (practical) part describes casuistry of total hip arthroplaty. Keywords: hip joint, arthrosis, total endoprotesis, physiotherapy
A case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with total knee replacement
Kozubíková, Alžběta Marie ; Dvořáčková, Dominika (advisor) ; Feherová, Martina (referee)
Author: Alžběta Marie Kozubíková Title: A case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with total knee replacement Objectives: The aim of theoretical part of the thesis is a thorough and complete introduction into gonarthrosis. The aim of the practical part of thesis is to present a case study of a female patient with total knee replacement. The patient, who had been diagnosed with gonarthrosis, underwent treatment in a private medical facility MediCentrum Praha. The treatment was followed by post-surgical rehabilitation, consisting of a series of therapeutical procedures whose effect is assessed. Methods: The present bachelor thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical one provides some basic information about the anatomy and kinesiology of the knee joint. The chapter called Gonarthrosis discusses the condition in detail, as patients with gonarthrosis are the most common candidates for total knee replacement. The chapter also explains pathomechanics, symptoms, occurrence rate and treatment options. Other chapters give an overview of efficient methods and techniques that physiotherapy can offer, following total knee replacement. The special part focuses on the details of physical therapy of the patient after the above-mentioned surgery and assessment of its effectiveness. It is based on...
