Application and evaluation of energy enthalpy heat exchanger
Jetelina, Michal ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis is solving measuring the efficiency heat recovery and application unit, which includes heat recovery into selected building. In the first part of the thesis are analy-zed the different types of heat recovery system, their behavior and suitability of use in HVAC systems. The second part includes the actual experiment, when were measured parameters of air, which passed through the unit and then were analyzed the results. In the last part, third, was measured unit applied to the selected house and was compared to operation of the unit in case of use by the producer given unit parameters and measured parameters.
Energy-efficient guest house in the city of Lednice
Joch, Tomáš ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
My Masters project is titled Energy-efficient guest house in the city of Lednice. The assignment is to design a building, which meets contemporary standards of energy efficiency. There are three parts of the project. The first part consists of designing the structure of the building. The building is L-shaped with pitched roof, single-storey with attic. There is a pool with sauna, restaurant with kitchen and main hall with entrance and reception on the ground floor. At the attic there are twenty two dwelling units for guests, common room and staff facilities. The main entrance is oriented towards east. The building is masonry system from sand-lime blocks with prefabricated reinforced concrete floor slabs and roof is made of timber roof truss. The building facade is insulated by ETICS. In the second part, there are designed HVAC, lightning and shading, rainwater usage and photovoltaic power station. In the third, there is a calculation of energy need for heating and cooling using monthly balance mehtod. The project is designed with support of AutoCAD, Revit and DEKsoftT softwares.
Veterinary clinic
Mrázková, Eva ; Stránská, Zuzana (referee) ; Struhala, Karel (advisor)
The aim of the master´s project is to provide designs for building permission for a nearly zero-energy veterinary clinic. It is a detached building with two aboveground floors. There are three clinics, one operating rooms, laboratory and staff facilities in the building. First part presents the design of building structure, The superstructure is based on strip foundations made of reinforced concrete in combination with pre-cast permanent formwork made of concrete blocks. The structural system is designed as a masonry system from clay masonry with columns from reinforced concrete. The external walls are load-bearing and covered with thermal insulation and ventilated facade. The floor and roof bearing structure is made of prefabricated concrete slabs. The building is covered with a warm flat green roof. Second part includes the design of building services as lighting, heating, heat recovery ventilation unit. These processes are together shown in a global scheme. Third part is focused on Life cycle assessment of three different flat roof assemblies to compare how they affect the environment. It uses a functional unit 1m2 of a flat roof to define parameters and show how big impact they have on the environment. The project was elaborated using Revit, AutoCad, Deksoft, Building design, GaBi a Lumion software.
