The artistic – educational project The Dialogues

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to get acquainted with the essence of the artistic - educational project The Dialogues, which refers to cooperation among students, dedicated to dance education in the context of basic art education, and their educators and professional dancers of our current dance scene. In brief charakteristick are presented different actors of the project - a large dance group from ZŠ and ZUŠ Karlovy Vary, the dance group NoTa Pilsen and Prague dance group NANOHACH . Each chapter of the work contains the exact time schedule of the preparations, a detailed description of the formation of one of the choreography - the Moment of transformation - and the final presentation of the entire project. This expert work is also contemplating the meaning and importance of mutual influence of amateur and professional dance world in the wider.
Business plan for contemporary dance company

This thesis deals with small dance company's business plan process options focusing on effectiveness and simplicity. The thesis offers views on two approaches of strategic planning. The classic one by Michael Kaiser and the second one - Business Model Canvas tool - not so developed in this particular domain. This tool is used in other fields all around the world for creating, reviewing, innovating and presenting business models. The aim of this thesis is to describe and compare this two approaches. A case study is also included in the thesis, verifying implementation of Business Model Canvas for independent dance company special needs.  The thesis is based on premise that the business plans of independent dace companies are often inadequate and for gaining strong partners or donors the ability to form and present an intelligible and confident vision is crucial.
Dance art in New York

My master thesis focused on "Dance art in New York City" should primarily serve as a preview of the dance world in New York City. It is a summary of famous and less known dancing schools, institutions, theaters, festivals and professional dance groups. The piece of work is divided into six chapters. The First Chapter describes some dancing schools and studios, which are located in the great City of New York. Besides general description the thesis talks about how individual institutions work and what they have in offer for their students and clients. The Second Chapter is focused on non-profit dancing institutions and centers, which are supporting entire dance community. Organizing lots of festivals and creating educational opportunities in order to support and protect the dance growth of the city itself. The Third Chapter is more detailed about festivals. Festivals are organized during the entire year and in multiple variations. We are going to get a knowledge of what exactly is happening on each individual event and is particularly intended for. The Fourth Chapter is all about theaters. On the one hand, each individual theater institution is focused on the presentation of its performances, but on the other hand, they also offer a wide range selection of educational possibilities and opportunities. My Diploma Thesis describes History of the Professional Folklore Body - The Czechoslovak State Ensemble of Songs and Dances (ČSSPT) from 1948 to 1978 and commemorates it´s (Ensamble) Founder and big name of Czech Culture Mrs. Libuše Hynková. My Work is mainly based on interviews and private archives and files of former members and Founder of the Ensemble.
The work of artistic director in the folklore ensemble

My thesis is focused on the role of artistic director in the folklore ensemble. My chosen region is Moravian Slovakia and Wallachia. It summarizes results of work of the artistic director, which were obtained from available literature and my own experience. It describes formation of folklore groups and their role in modern society. Thesis includes an analysis of artistic director´s work from the perspective of different points of view and characterizes his personality. It also deals with education, artsleaders. The last part practicaly desribes creation of the new choreography.
Dance-social projects

This bachelor study aims to map phenomenon of dancing-social projects with orientation on production specifics. At the same time its aim is to examine and describe educational and social function of dance. A theory part of the study focuses on conceptual gadget form dancing field and social environment, further on domestic dancing-social project Spalicek and british dance group Candoo and organization, which is continualy devoted to this problematic. An analytical part brings analysis of his own project with title Story as way with economical and finacial specific dancing ?social projects. Introduced bachelory study could be helpful material in realization of dancing-social projects.
