Further Education of Dance Teachers of Primary Art Schools

The aim of the thesis is to map out the interest of dance teachers in further education through a questionnaire survey. Specially about pedagogue of the dance department Primary Art Schools (TO ZUŠ) which are operating in the Central Bohemia region and Prague in 2014 - 2017. Respondents' answers are summarized in two thematic areas, one is a pedagogue profile, the other one is an interest in further education including awareness. For an overview of possibilities for further education in the years 2014 - 2017, there is a summary of seminars and dance workshops of selected Prague institutions - NIDV, NIPOS-ARTAMA, SE.S.TA and HAMU. A brighter idea brings out the description and course of two specific education seminars. In addition, the work defines the requirements for teachers of TO ZUŠ and represents the Framework Educational Program for Primary Art Schools (RVP ZUV).
ACCOMPANIMENT OF CLASSICAL BALLET CLASS

In my bachelor thesis I deal with the theme of Accompaniment of classical ballet class. In the introduction I mention the history of accompaniment and accompanist. In the second chapter I focus on general basic concepts, which need to be known to understand the next chapters. I also chronologically list the essential elements of classical dance classes, describe their character and explain their musical requirements in the third chapter. These are followed by the list of songs for elements from the previous chapter. The fifth chapter deals with communication between teacher and accompanist and with detailed description of dance variation (e.g. from its creation, through the beggining, practising and to the end). I also point out here the various ways of musical accompaniment and I attach their performance suggestions In the last chapter I focus on alternative possibilities of musical accompaniment - CDs and musical accompaniment using mobile phone. In the appendix I enclose the examples of classical dance recordings and single dance tracks.
Jozef Fruček and Linda Kapetanea: artistic group Rootlessroot and Fighting Monkey program

The main aim of this master thesis is to bring the personality of Jozef Frucek and Linda Kapetaney as a creator and pedagogue who influence their approach to European artistic events. Much of the work is devoted to the Rootlessroot Platform, through which they realize their work and the research movement Fighting Monkey, which reflects their pedagogical approach and way of thinking. In the individual chapters, the pillars of the Fighting Monkey - Anatomy of the Injury, Earthquake Architecture, and Anatomy of Events - are presented in more detail, and I will give them an example of movement games.
Application of Laban Movement Analysis in Dance-Movement Education

This bachelor thesis deals with the dance artist, theorist and choreographer Rudolf Laban and the selected parts of Laban Movement Analysis (LMA). It focuses on the possibilities of using LMA in dance and movement education of children and youth. It introduces Laban's ideas on dance and movement education of children of different ages along with basic movement themes which can be applied in education of dance and movement. The thesis briefly presents Laban's publications related to education. The author further describes her own experience with application of LMA (which she studied at Academy of Performing Arts in Prague) and gives particular examples of applying LMA in education.
Possibilities of Application of Feldenkrais Method in Dance

The bachelor thesis elaborates on various possibilities of application of the Feldenkrais method in dance. The findings of this paper were based on three interviews with professionals who have experiences in both disciplines (dance, as well the Feldenkrais method). At the end of the thesis, evaluation of the personal experience with the Gaga dance method and its comparison with the Feldenkrais method will follow.
Modern and contemporary dance education at dance conservatories in the Czech republic

In my thesis I was concerned with a situation of modern and contemporary dance education at conservatories in the Czech Republic. As for the theoretical objectives, I used accessible official sources and regarding the practical objectives I derived from experiencing of seeing some of the classes of the school year 2016/17. At most of the conservatories the modern and contemporary dance is taught from the fifth grade and that lead me to focus only on classes from fifth until eighth grade. I added a piece of information about student’s and teacher’s opinions on modern and contemporary dance education by using the questionnaires and I also described my own view of educational process at specific institutions which I could make by means of all acquired information.
Spectrum and network of artistic dance schools in Prague between the wars

The bachelor thesis gives an overview of the creation and activities of dance schools teaching expressive dance and classical ballet between the first and the Second World War. I continue my works in graduate and semester works. In the first part, I study the available materials about teaching, methodology. The second part deals with the geographical location of the school headquarters in Prague and it’s possible movements over the time. The third part deals with administrative aspects of teaching, the frequency of the hours, the filing of applications, the tuition and the age range of pupils in schools. I also deal with school performances in public, the performances of pupils in theater productions, the performance of schools on afternoon tea sittings, club and social events. In conclusion, I deal with the exhibition Dancing in Czechoslovakian Art and Photography in Manes and the accompanying dance evenings where the schools were presented. The aim of the thesis is to get a more complete look at the establishment and functioning of these schools in the given period.
Profile and reflections of dance department of the Juilliard school

This bachelor thesis, called Profile and Reflection of Juilliard School’s Dance Division, first of all briefly touches the key events in history of both classical and modern dance in the first half of the twentieth century and then approaches the history of The Bennington School of the Dance which is considered to be the Juilliard’s predecessor. After a general historical overview, descriptions of the educational goals and study programs, is the rest of the work focussing on Juilliard’s Dance Division in detail. Its past accomplishments, famous teachers, study programs and the admission procedures are discussed. All these information, including the interviews with Jarek Cemerek, a Czech choreographer and dance teacher, and with Brennan Clost, a current student of the fourth year at The Juilliard School, were used as a final reflection of Juilliard’s Dance Division. The comparison of Czech dance schools with The Juilliard School is comprised in this section.  
Dance education of preschool hyperactive children

The topic of this diploma thesis is Dance education of preschool hyperactive children. Goal of research is to describe teaching of hyperactive children especially dance lessons. There is described Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in the first part of thesis. There is written about special needs of children with ADHD focused on education. Second part is focused on practical dance lesson of ADHD children. There is described example dance lesson based on theory and practical experience of experts. The result of research is that supply of special lessons is very limited and it is big pity. In the diploma thesis was recognized that the education with special program should help to children with ADHD and it can be good supplement to standard medical therapy.
Curriculum of classical dance
