On the evaluation of cutting performance when machining
Kolomý, Štěpán ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on cutting performace during intterupted cutting conditions and on the problems of intermittent turning. There is tested cutting performace of indexable inserts from cubic boron nitride and ceramic during interrupted face turning in experimental part. Tools wear and shape of chips are analyzed. The output of this work is data processing and their comparison.
Solution of technology of cutting knuckle bolt in conditions of company TRW
Tichánek, Martin ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The Thesis deals with the increase in efficiency of the cutting process. The current state analysis of the knuckle bolt cutting. The choice of the alter-natives of the cutting tips and the iron chip former. The evaluation of the iron chip forming. The change of the path of the finishing cutting tip. Time loss when cutting bolts.
Turning of steels at low depths of cut
Tichá, Dana ; Dvořáková, Jana (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
Thesis is devoted to the analysis of the competition of indexable cutting inserts, which are used for turning at lower cutting widths of the blade than the tip radius. Thesis is an analysis of five indexable cutting inserts from diferent companies. Furthermore the chip breakers of selected inserts are compared and finally the testing of the insert and its results based on metal chip shapes are described.
