Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with a diagnosis of subtrochanteric femur fracture Author: Benedikt Šorm Head of the thesis: Mgr. Jana Sohrová Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to elaborate theoretical and practical knowledge of the diagnosis of subtrochanteric femur fracture and to record the course of physiotherapeutic care of the patient with given diagnosis. Methods: The case report of physiotherapeutic care for a selected patient was processed during concurrent professional practice at the Faculty Thomayer Hospital at the Department of Rheumatology and Rehabilitation 3. LF UK and FTN. The internship took place from 9/1/2023 to 3/2/2023. To write the special part, an anamnesis was first taken, and an initial kinesiology examination was performed. Based on the examination, a short-term and long-term therapeutic plan was made. A total of 15 therapeutic units took place, during the first and last therapeutic units there was an initial and final kinesiology examination. After comparing the initial and final examinations, the effect of the therapy was evaluated. The general part is devoted to information and knowledge about the diagnosis of intertrochanteric fracture of the femur. Title of bachelor's thesis:: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a pacient after subtrochanteric fracture of femur Objective: The aim of this thesis is to elaborate theoretical and practical knowledge of the diagnosis and their application while processing the case study of a patient after subtrochanteric fracture. Method: This bachelor thesis is divided into general part and special part. In general part the hip joint is described including anatomy, kinesiology. and also the causes and treatment of subtrochanteric fracture. Also described anatomy including articular capsule, ligaments and muscles.. I describe the general bone structure as well as its growth and remodelation. The problematics of subtrochanteric fracture are compiled and listed are methods of osteosynthesis that are used and rehabilitation. The special part contains the case study of a patient after subtrochanteric fracture of the femur and after osteosynthesis with proximal femoral nail, including input and output kinesiology analysis, the goals of the therapy, a short-term and a long-term therapy plan, therapy process and the evaluation of the effects of the therapy.
