Proposed solutions must take into account the current technical and safety trends that are valid under the relevant norms and standards for the type of Gigabit Ethernet network. The work will also described the use and characteristics of individual sub-components, which are for the operation of the entire network is necessary.

My Bachelor thesis is focused in the optimization of the computer network for Veterinary Research Institute in Brno. It apprises us of theoretical solutions to computer networks. It also analyses the actual state of computer network, buildings, infrastructure, active components and servers. It takes into account the user's behavior as well. The main part of the thesis is the concept of computer network modifications specially on the physical layer.

The bachelor thesis is focused on a suggestion of an operational computer network in a particular building. The thesis deals with the analysis of a present situation and according to its results is implemented my own solution. The solution must be operational, easily expandable and it will meet the requirements which will be agreed with the investor.
