This bachelor’s thesis is focused on structural modifications of the universal columned hydraulic press. The thesis proposes justifiable structural modifications of fundamental parts of the press, including material choices, and necessary calculations and simulations of material strength and deformation characteristics. Calculated specifications of the unit that powers the press are also presented.
The reconstruction of the cultural Hall in Czernowitz

In this diploma thesis I deal with the reconstruction of the cultural house in Czernowitz which is a town located in the Highlands. This existing object was built in the 40s of the 20th century served as Sokol which is currently used as a cultural center in the town. The building has two aboveground floors and it is partly basement. The operation of the cultural house is divided into three functional sections. Hall with relevant rooms, where are held short-term events such as balls, concerts, lectures, etc. Next there is the beer hall with the opening hours which are independent of the operation of other sections. Finally, there are 3 rooms in the building for the purpose of local interest organizations and clubs.
