Steel construction of the road bridge
Kloda, Petr ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The aim of the master thesis was a design of the steel-concrete composite road bridge for a main road in Ostrava. The part of the design was a variant design of the bridge which has theoretical spans equal to 44 m + 55 m + 44 m. Total span of the bridge is then 143 m. Two variants of the bearing steel structure are compared in the preliminary structural design, in the first one a twin-girder is designed and in the second one a box-girder bridge is assessed. The width of the bridge is 14 m and a launching of the bridge without temporary supports is chosen as the assembly method. The design of the bridge structure was carried out according to the valid standard ČSN EN. The final thesis contains variant design, structural design report, where a bill of quantities is stated, engineering report and drawings.
Steel construction of Sports Hall
Badin, Vít ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Bajer, Miroslav (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the proposal of main supporting steel structure of multipurpose sports hall with the floor plan dimensions of 36x45 meters. Location of the building is in Znojmo. Total height of the structure is 16 meters. The support structure material is 235 JR. Construction is drafted in three possible options. For the selected option is elaborated project documentation and calculated guide details.
Steel Structure of the Office Building
Stavrovský, Jiří ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Hron, Lukáš (advisor)
Thesis deals with design of a steel structure of multi-storey office building. It is a six-storey steel structure of square plan with dimensions of 40 x 48 meters and height of 21,5 meters. Structural design report is made by a combination of manual calculations and calculations using software Scia engineer. Structural design report includes calculations of: truss girder, column, connection, bracing, beam, secondary beam and column anchorage. Thesis includes drawing documentation and report.
Experimental tests of reinforced concrete members loaded by shear effects
Macek, Marek ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Žítt, Petr (advisor)
Theoretical design and manufacture of the specimen. Load test 4-point bending shear effects. Tests on mechanical properties of the material. Numerical analysis of the test element software ATENA 2D. Static calculation according to standardized characteristics values and fair values of the test results. Evaluation and comparison of results.
Shopping mall in Brno
Brozmanová, Dagmar ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Pešek, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to design and assessment of the steel structure of shopping mall, which is situated in Brno. Three variants were processed, from which one was selected for more detailed processing. Variants have hexagonal floor plan with maximum dimension 60,0 m, four floors and same structural solution. They differ in plan of secondary beams and columns, in floor plan of glass atrium and used cross-sections. Building´s load-bearing structure consists of pin-supported columns, primary beams, secondary beams and purlins. Rigidity of the structure is enshured by system of vertical bracings and in horizontal direction by composite slab. The structure elements are made of steel S355, except secondary beams, which are made of steel S235.
