Use of ultrasound testing of concrete in bridge structures

There are analyze kinds of diagnostic methods in terms of bachelor’s thesis. It is written about principles of ultrasonic pulse method and its options of usage on the current concrete structure. There are processed results of measurement on the testing samples which will be compared with results of stress strength. There is also spoken about calibration relationships in the bachelor’s thesis. Calibration relationships are described in Czech technical norms.
Diagnosis of the fire damaged bridge

This thesis is about assessment of a bridge construction influenced by fire accident. The bridge is situated at the highway D46 beyond the town Držovice. Within this construction research, there will be mentioned diagnostic methods – A non- destructive method (Ultrasonic pulse method and hardness tests) and destructive methods (borehole and tear off tests). For find out in which way was the concrete of the bridge damaged and hurt while facing a high temperature of fire, there were taken samples, which were analyzed by physical and chemical test. We can analyze composition and microstructure of the concrete. The result of this tests will be evaluated, and the actions of a remediation will be suggested.
The use of ultrasonic methods in the diagnosis of concrete structures

This Bachelor’s thesis is focused on presenting of a listing of testing procedures of concrete structures by means of an ultrasonic diagnostic method. It deals with the principles of the aforementioned method, possibilities of its use and with the procedures of testing pursuant to a various regulations. The purpose of the practical part of the thesis work, in which was undertaken the process of measurement on the model of concrete structure is to determine certain material characteristics of the concrete as well as the comparison of the direct, indirect and semi-direct transmission.
