Design and construction of the task to the subject PPI
Král, Jiří ; Krejčí, Petr (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with creating of computational model for definition of tensity and deformations of bars system. Then the physical model is made according to the theoretical model. This physical model is used for educational purposes. Next step is measurement of stress and deformation of bars. The final part is focused on eventual variations between theoretical and real model.
Reduction in the pilot’s stress during the landing maneuver by providing accurate height information
Šplíchal, Miroslav
The article is focused on pilot stress reduction during landing by providing accurate height information. It is based on the results of the completed project TA04030510 – Assistance systems supporting the pilot’s right decisions increasing the safety of operating small civil aircraft. The landing is the most critical phase of a flight. Accidents occurring during approach and landing phases generally represent up to 40 % of all aircraft accidents. A frequent cause of these accidents is a pilot error. During project development, 112 accidents of ultralight aircraft and 152 accidents of small GA aircraft that happened from 2005 to 2015 were analyzed. In total, 48 aircraft landing-related accidents and 22 accidents in ultralight aircraft were found. Landing accidents represent 26.5% of all investigated accidents.

Measurement of Tensor Stress Changes by Conical Gauge Probe in Ostrava-Karvina Coal Basin
Staš, Lubomír ; Souček, Kamil ; Knejzlík, Jaromír ; Waclawik, P. ; Palla, L.
A device designed on base of measurement local deformations on compact conical ended borehole was used for long term monitoring of stress changes induced by closed underground human activity. The changes of stress state of rock mass impacted by progress of long-wall were investigated. This experiment demonstrated that monitored strain changes on borehole bottom are formed both by geomechanical situation based on a progress of long-wall and perhaps by local geomechanical situation based on stress redistribution after boring of measuring borehole and on plastic deformation of creeping rock material.
