Quality evaluation of unprocessed steels for corrosion
Holubářová, Michaela ; Buchtík, Martin (referee) ; Doskočil, Leoš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is based on quality evaluation of unprocessed steels for corrosion. Visual control of the steel quality by a microscope is not sufficient, as this method of resistance assessment lacks quantified values. Current instruments are already able to provide specific corrosion values and therefore the SmartCET has been used to electrochemically characterize the supplied steel materials. The theoretical part includes general description and basic division of steel and corrosion. It also contains a summary of thermodynamic and kinetic corrosion aspects and methods of metal resistance evaluation. The experimental part deals with the measurements and evaluation of electrochemical characteristics (general corrosion rate, pitting factor and B value) over time compared to visual control.
Production of cap
Braško, Zdenko ; Staněk, Vojtěch (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to propose and design the production of the cap. The cap is welded to the tube of roller regal and is used for closing the tube. They together make a fixed assembly. There is a bearing molded from inside the cap and shaft passes through the center of the cap. The main function of whole assembly is to rotate the tube around its own axis. The cap will made from deep - drawing steel DC04 with a thickness of 2 mm. After consideration various possible variants for the cap production, there was chosen deep drawing without reduction of thickness as the most profitable technology. The shape of the component was modified from the technology review. There is proposed a tool that will be used for production the caps. The caps will be produced within three operations: the first two operations form a central cup and the third operation makes the final shape of the cap. Drawings for the tool are created and delivered as part of this thesis. Based on the necessary force and work calculation, it was chosen eccentric press machine S 160 E from the ŠMERAL company. With the 25 000 series, the costs of production one piece are 51,65 CZK.
Manufacturing of the engine oil tank cap
Polášek, Lukáš ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The project introduces a technology design of an oil tank cap manufacturing for a turboschaft engine TV3 – 117MT of the MI – 17 helicopter. The component will be produced of DC04 material in a batch of 10 pieces per year. Based on the evaluation of possible production methods the rubber pad forming process with an uncertain instrument (Guerin Method) was chosen. A raw material of 112 mm diameter will be cut out from a metal sheet which dimension will be 1000 mm x 2000 mm x 1 mm. An versatile (universal) tool which is suitable for forming, cutting and bending is designed for a hydraulic press machine CTH 1000. It`s power is 10 000 kN and it is available in the Arial toolshop.
