This thesis was a research and analysis of the levels of different customer satisfaction standards in the family construction company. The analysis involved conducting internal and external environment assessments of the company. The data collected on customer satisfaction from clients was carried out by using a qualitative questionnaire method. This study provided the host family construction company with recommendations on how to develop the customer satisfaction standards, which in turn will improve their market position.

Legal aspects of engineering construction projects outside the Czech Republic

English Abstract The thesis deals with legal aspects of engineering construction projects performed abroad by subjects from the Czech Republic. Such projects represent the highest technical, industrial and economical skills of a nation and are crucial for national economy mainly because of their high added value. Despite the fact that each engineering project is of a unique and bespoke nature, there are issues and problems which repeat themselves more or less during the realization of every project. Therefore it is possible to identify and describe such repeated problems and issues and put them into the overall legal framework typical of engineering construction projects.

Re-creation of a roman bath complex at Pollena Trocchia

Roman baths were discovered in Pollena Trocchia on the northern side of Vesuvius. They can be labelled as private for their size and location and they probably belonged to a rich villa. This and the fact that they were built shortly after the A.D. 79 eruption makes them a rather rare specimen for study of development of Roman baths in the area. The baths are exceptionally well preserved and rare details of construction and functionality can be found, from the design phase, which can be seen in form of 1:1 plan carved on bricks forming the hypocaust floor, to the water and heating technologies. These details are followed in this thesis and the original form and modus operandi of the baths is reconstructed. Technical sights of South Bohemia

This work describes selected the technical monuments in South Bohemia and the technical monuments are described in detail. This work technical monuments shows the basic technical functions and the use of known physical phenomena in their construction. These monuments are grouped into thematic groups with respect to mining, transporting and processing of raw materials. Selection specific monuments was carried out on the basis of their importance and uniqueness in the context of South Bohemia.

Bachelor's thesis deals with the financial analysis of building enterprise Metrostav a.s in the period 2005-2009 and also focuses on the risk of possible bankruptcy of the analyzed company. The paper describes various methods and techniques of financial analysis. By their application in the analyzed enterprise financial situation of Metrostav a.s. is assessed and values of individual indicators are then compared with outcomes of enterprises in the construction industry.

Supply chain for the construction company

This graduation thesis occupies by logistics utilization in the construction company Baracom Inc. It tries to describe the areas of the civil engineering which the logistics can be used in. The emphasis is placed on the supply network and on the whole project management from the beginning to the customer delivery. The concrete apartment blocks development is analysed from the building land purchase to the complete constructions. What is desribed here is e.g. the selection of the suppliers, the creation and the adherence to the schedules... The supplier evaluation in the company and the flow of material at the construction were also analysed out. The advantages of the wooden constructions were presented. The effort was to explain the low-energy constructions´ benefits and their potential in the future.
